Hey Marc, thanks for the kind words! It is just a bigger motion with the same principles applied. Also, when pitching its great to keep the focus on the CORE being the engine and not getting handsy as the swing and shot get longer.
Sorry to criticize but in the video it is clear that the height and run was influenced considerably by the small but significant amount of wrist hinging. On your first shot the the club comes in and finishes with a bit of forward lean and in the second last shot the wrists hinge on the back swing and follow through - even though you say the 'Y" stays the same. Clearly you are correct in the basics of what you say about ball position and club lean but that bit of wrist hinge or forward lean makes a big difference to the shot.
When do you use ball position back and hands back? You didn’t show an example of moving the hands back.

Carolin, how fram the hole can this chipping system work from?
Hey Jack, so it works well up to about 60 yards with the higher softer shots but of course gets a bit more challenging as then the "y" will need to get a bit more lose during the backswing but needs to return to that position at impact. The longer the swing gets the more challenging it gets. But anything just off the greens is the simplest to start with.
What club are you using?
This was a 56 degree wedge.
