Too much wrist action leads to inconsistency on the greens. In this tip, Martin Hall shows how understanding ulnar and putting like Payne Stewart will help you create a consistent roll.

Interesting. I use a press forward approach. Works well for me. I sometimes seem to pull or hook my putts. What causes this? Is it my take away of follow through?
If they moved the words to the top of the screen we could see the ball/putter better…same as other videos
Marin I have done that now for 70 years since I was 4. Great teacher my Mother told me that. My issue is the takeaway. I have difficulty in taking the putter back evenly. It has a tendency to move outward at the takeaway and I have to redirect it back on line coming thru the ball which many times causes other than center of putter hits. Any tips on takaway?
Will going a bit Ulnar also flatten the putter lie a little bit?
I noticed you said some great golfers were wrist putters; without naming them. Maybe I should not mention that one of the greatest golfers of all time — Bobby Jones – was a wrist putter! And also did some chipping with just the wrists. Check out some of his videos!
Now that I understand Ulnar, how can I putt thru the ball as I tend to pull most putts.
Do you put loft on putter.
Thanks, John
Do you like the putter head to pass the hands ( release the putter like Tiger and Crenshaw) or the handle to lead the putter head like Dave Stockton. Would the ulnar wrist favor one type or both.
Great tip!
I’m a globe on putter. How much difference does this make?
