Can that same yardstick be used as a gauge for distance practice? How far of a backstroke to putt the ball 5’, 8’ etc. I assume these drills all must be done on a flat fairly straight putt.
Why does it matter whether the yardstick is metal or wood?

Where should your elbows be pointing at address of the putter?
In your grip is your right hand grip firmer than the leading hand?
