Woodland Golf Club

Woodland Golf Club is short but sweet. It has a fairly forgiving layout that has well kept greens and fairways. There was a lot of crabgrass in the rough and the holes are short. The greens are often sloped wuite a bit and gave a fast roll speed. The bunkers were rock hard and not tended to as is the case with most courses nowadays.

Thank you, Woodruff family, for taking back this course and restoring it to its original conidiation and making the dramatic improvements to the Clubhouse.

Well maintained golf course…truly enjoyed Woodland Golf Club. The remodeled clubhouse and restaurant/banquet area are top notch. No matter how far from Cable, Ohio you live…come enjoy this excellently designed course.

More than pleasantly surprised in grabbing a Hot Deal at this course. It’s well maintained with quick greens, a great layout with a mix of both challenging and scorable holes, and the staff and clubhouse amenities are both high quality.

Highly recommend for anyone in the Columbus surrounding area.

The friendliness of the staff is wonderful giving advice freely. The course is maintained at PGA levels.would definitely play here again if I get a chance

This course has been upgraded to the point you wouldn't even know it is the same course I played 5 years ago! you can tell the new owners poured a bunch of money int the place and it's staff. The greens we perfect, and everything just looks so classy. Well done guys!

Amazing course and in great shape. Not what i expected when i showed up.

Very well kept course, tee boxes in very good condition, facilities clean and well kept, staff was very cordial and friendly. First time playing. A lot of hills that keep you guessing what club to use and the greens were super fast. 100% coming back.

Had a wonderful afternoon by myself in the heat and sunshine at Woodland. To start the parking lot looked freshly paved and striped. The clubhouse/ bar and restaurant looked freshly finished and was very modern and impressive. You could tell the course had been provided some TLC. Most of the bridges that were corrugated metal looked shiny and new with freshly backfill dirt and gravel over the top of the pipe. All the traps were freshly raked and playable. Fairways groomed nicely and greens rolling as they should. The heat prevented many from playing I am sure. This course is about 45 minutes west of the west side of Columbus which may have also prevented some players from coming out. The course is not necessarily what I would call easy but does require some thought in regard to water hazards and shot selection. I was very impressed not having played here for possibly 5 or 6 years and since new ownership a couple of years ago. They have really provided some TLC here. Staff was exceptional.

Was traveling for work in the area and decided to get a round in here. I was absolutely amazed by this place. Amenities you would only normally expect at a private course. Course is in pristine condition. Challenging but fair course. Carts even have ball/club washers attached! Which I loved. Can’t wait to come back

What a nice course and clubhouse. My expectations were low coming in thinking this was going to be some low level, flat, non-challenging hillbilly course, but I couldn't have been more wrong. Great undulations, fast greens, challenging holes. I nearly used my whole back playing from the silvers. I'm definitely coming back despite the hour drive. The people were very friendly and helpful. Kinda like they were happy for me to be there. Other courses take note.
