The course was in awful condition, the tee boxes had no grass, and were extremely uneven. The fairways were overgrown with weeds and the rough was more of the same.

The greens were in decent shape but had many ball marks that had not been repaired.

The pace of play was disappointing to say the least. 4 groups on one who at one point. We had to bring this to the attention of the course staff, thankfully they attempted to speed things up.

Overall very poor experience and will not be returning. We quit after playing 8 holes, even after paying for 18.

The course needs work but they’re probably doing the best they can considering all the rain and the water damage. The tree are in terrible condition. The greens are okay. The rough is pretty rough.

I have played this course several times over the years and it continues to go downhill. The fairways are full of crabgrass and it is difficult to distinguish from the rough. Pace of play was awful. We had two grandparents and two kids in front of us that were hitting 6-8 shots off the tee and most shots thereafter. I stopped at the clubhouse after taking an hour to play three holes and they finally let us through. Saw several groups of 10-12 guys playing on the course. They may want to invest in a ranger.

Had a great day with my brother at puckawayGC. The pace of play was ideal. We played the gold tees. The tee boxes are pretty rough. The fairways for the most part are fine and the greens very good and rolling nicely. Traps are in need of sand although it had rained a few days before and standing water made some unplayable. We enjoyed the day and play this course frequently and enjoy the experience.

Only got 2 holes in because the rain and thunder moved in much earlier than expected. We were going to sit at the bar and have a few drinks but radar showed heavy rain for a good while so requested rain check. They only give 9 hole rain checks so decided to not give them another penny and took our money elsewhere. The 2 hole we played we in sad shape.

The turf is in pretty poor condition due to the lack of the rain ,it doesn’t look like much water is being applied. There are quite a few weeds in areas other than the fairways.

Current staff is not as warm and welcoming as previous staff who served under former management. Course conditions are just ok.

I was pleasantly surprised with the condition of the course. It was in better shape than the previous time I played. Though the rough was challenging, they had mowed several of the areas on the course that they had let grow up, which made for a much more enjoyable round. We took advantage of a GolfNow hot deal, so the price was great. And the course wasn’t crowded so the pace of play was pleasant.

The course was in better shape than the last time I played. Tom, who’s worked at the course for years, is always super friendly and helpful. And the pace of play was perfect. Looking forward to playing again soon.

The course layout is excellent; however, if my ball strays outside the fairway, it becomes virtually impossible to find. The rough is so overgrown that the ball simply gets lost in the grass.

Greens were bad. Needs mowed and greens need water

1. Acne scarred greens, it's like playing plinko

2. Trillions of dandelions everywhere

3. They keep the rough naturally thick to protect the integrity of the game, given that from the whites is only 6,100 yards.... But with that being said, you could tell the grass hasn't been cut for many weeks !!!

Maybe it'll get better, but they have A LOT of work to do !!!

Greens were in bad shape. Rough was hardly kept. Very tough to find your ball in the rough filled with Dandelions. If the course was in better shape it would be a great course. It does have a fun layout.

I’ve been here before and I understand that beginning of seasons or dry times lead to rough patches on a course, but the greens here were horrible. It made us not want to try because you knew once you got it on the green it was a toss up which way the ball would go. I was just very disappointed.

I was surprised when entering the parking lot that only 5 cars present at 10am. It was a little cool (50*) but the sun was shining. I played as a single and had a good GN rate. No one in front of me or behind, played at my own speedy pace. The tee boxes had grass but weren’t in the best of shape but playable. Tee to green was fine. The greens, all the greens, were in bad shape. Not sure what was going on but a lot of grass is missing from the greens. It was also cart path only due to rain the past few days. Between the cart path only and greens situation may have been why there were so few folks at the course? I still had an enjoyable few hours by myself and enjoying the cool autumn weather.

Several years back, I played a nine hole course in Kansas that was a repurposed cow pasture. THAT course was not as bad as this place! A local who joined my twosome today, said that the owner was using the course as a “placeholder” until he could sell the property to a housing developer. My friend and I spent two hours driving and $85 to play golf here! A total rip off!

My front yard is in better condition than the fairways, and my needs-to-be-replaced black top driveway is in better condition than the greens!

I played this course early this summer and it was not in great shape. I decided to play there again this afternoon because of the awesome deal booking online.

Although not prestine, the course was in much better shape. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. After talking to the staff, it appears they have replaced the greens keeper and have the course going in the right directions. Putting surface still had some issues but the grass is regrouping nicely, fairways were in decent shape also. Tee boxes had some weeds but new grass was regrowing.

Had a blast today and am optimistic for this course in the future.
