White/Red at Ramblewood Country Club
About
Ramblewood Country Club is one of the Delaware Valley's most popular golfing destinations. There are 27 holes of championship golf available, which are divided into three nines called the Red, White, and Blue. With three 18-hole combinations, there is plenty of variety. The White/Red golf course is the original 18 holes when the club first opened in 1962. The Blue nine was added a decade later. The two nines are more similar in design and character than the Blue, which is tighter and routed through mature pine forests. Throughout the golf course you'll find large, subtly undulating greens that are guarded by strategically placed bunkers. Water has a prominent presence throughout. There are forced carries over water on 12 holes. The forgiving fairways with their generous landing areas provide some respite.

Solid
The course is in good shape.
No issues with pace of play, on an even deal day.
One note——
No driving range ,just 2 hitting nets .
They do have a nice putting green
Father's Day
Course in good shape; they went to 10 minute tee times which was long overdue
Only 1 ranger for 27 holes, so for the "annual Fathers Day" golfer who doesn't know when to pickup it slows pace for everyone behind them.
Why they end red with a par 3 and begin blue with a par 3 is beyond me. By default there will be a backup. Should have a refreshment stand by blue teebox....you have to walk a bit to the clubhouse; it just delays the round.
IDK what you have to do to play the white 9, I never draw it when making a tee time.
On the plus side, course was in pretty good shape considering the lack of rain.
Slow play
This course is a good option with close proximity to Philadelphia. However, as is becoming the standard at public courses, play can be very slow. There are three different 9 hole courses. Oddly enough, as we waited for three groups in front of us to tee off on the first hole of one of the courses, not a single group was waiting on the other. Could be a great course if they improve pace of play / logistics of the three courses and how they interplay.
Had a great day at Ramblewood CC
Booked this highly rated course on GolfNow and did not disappoint. The entrance to the club is spacious and attractive. The staff is well dressed and friendly. Since it’s a weekday and not crowded, I had a relaxing pace to really enjoy playing golf during warm up and on course. The white and red courses were well maintained and in good condition. I played well from the tee suitable to me. Afterwards I took a shower and had a good drink and food at the bar. It’s my most enjoyable round in recent memory.
Very Dry Conditions
The course needs water very badly, it’s very dry. The greens were still sanded after aeration, but rolled pretty decent. The tee boxes, rough fairways, and bunkers were in good shape.
Great Pace
Great day out without any hold ups or anyone waiting behind us. Must be the 10 min apart tee times. I thought going in that would be jammed up as it was sunny on a Saturday in May, That was not the case at all. Great time. Thanks.

We played from the gold tee boxes on the White and Red 9s. Both were challenging enough but not too difficult to play. The staff was very friendly. The fairways were quite wide. Greens were very good.
I have not played here for many years
However I enjoyed playing there and the layout the greens were slow but in very good shape
Fairways were very good
The roughs were challenging many deep lies
I plan to return soon n improve my game
I would highly recommend others to play here
Great shape!
Course was in incredible shape! Haven't played in years but loved what they've done.
Good Conditions
Course in good condition after weekend rain.
Greens just aerated but not too bumpy.
Fairways and tees good also. Greens need about 2 weeks to absorb sand and aeration.
Good Shape for Early Spring
The course was in good condition fir early spring. Pace of play was unusually good for Ramblewood but likely due to the cooler weather.
