My home course
Always great to play Glendoveer either east or west I live five minutes away and play there. Every chance I get the golf deal hot deals make it that much better.
Descent course but pace was really slow
Two public courses that get a lot of play. It paid $26 through Golfnow and was able to get 18 holes in. The course is descent and I’ve played there many times. The problem is there are many beginners and they didn’t know etiquettes such as pace of play or respect for other players. The yell and scream and stand around on the green after they finish while people are waiting to hit. On hole 10 on east course one guy hit three balls if the tee. If I tell him to go he would’ve 10 balls probably. His golfing friends didn’t say anything.
I’ll be bac
This is such a beautiful course this time of year. Dry with some more roll out and the greens are in great condition, a little slower than last week but nice.
Sweet time of the year
Weather perfect, course perfect, pace perfect. Taking my friend out to impress him with our municipal course and he was very impressed. Good hole placement and slower than other courses greens made it a challenge for him an 9 handicap. We’ll be back next week
Fantastic golf outing
Beautiful, well-kept course. Friendly, professional staff. One of the best public courses in the area. Highly recommended.
Great shape
The course was the best i’ve seen in 35 years. The greens were fast and pretty smooth even in the afternoon. We will definitely be back
Great value, fun layout, a little wet
Drainage is biggest issue, but excellent value, great range set up with big screens for tracking tech
Poor Golf Edict
As with a lot of course in Portland this time o year, the coarse was a bit sloppy. That is to be expected, so no real complaints about that. Just noting the conditions.
The greens were soft and ran pretty fast considering how soft they were. I am not sure how the grounds keeping crew mowed them. Complements to the grounds keeping team.
Since the greens were so soft, balls lofted on to the green left substantial ball marks on the green. A large percentage of golfers failed to repair the ball marks. My threesome often repaired 5 to 7 ball mark while on the green.
While the wet weather made the sand traps fairly compact, players seemed to believe that they didn't need to rake out their foot prints or club cuts in the sand traps. I watched one gentlemen play his ball out of the sand, walk the length of the sand trap, and not rake the trap.
I am suspect that this is just a reflection of the lack of manners that seem to be more prevalent in society any more.
Glendo east
Love the course but it's way too soft to play right now.. it's winter so what are you going to do..
soild course during the week
greens had been punched the week before but are already healing and rolling smooth.
Golf Now Scam
Why did I book on this app? They just charged a fee for nothing and I paid the course directly. Should have just called the course. What a scam!
