First, the man checking me in was not too friendly. His greeting was rough and he sounded displeased with my presence. The layout is kind of all over the place with makeshift cart paths where the real cart path is not accessible. Signage got me where I needed to go but not without some confusion. The tee boxes were really uneven with sand and weeds. The greens weren’t in bad shape so that was nice. The pace of play was great but I also didn’t see many golfers so I chalk it up to that.

Good for buddies to go out and have a good time.

Course was in really good shape in the spring. Tee boxes were bad. Greens were pretty good.

Friendliest pro shop ever went out of their way to help after I forgot a few items (I am mid-move and my stuff is everywhere). Without a friendly approach to getting me out with all I needed I would have been forced to scrap the prepaid round. Not on this guy’s watch! Awesome time, fun course to play, thanks bud!

The gent in the pro shop could not have been more accommodating or friendly. Bent over backwards to help accommodate my tee time and helped me with some items I forgot. Thanks bud you guys are great!

Great course, super shape and can’t beat the price..the older fellas in the clubhouse (Dave and Ernest) he,led with everything.

I generally agree with the playing conditions noted by other reviewers. A few sandy and beat up tee boxes here and there. Hard sand traps, but that's true for many public courses in Berks county in this price range.

It's also not as nicely kept as it was, say, thirty year ago, but it's easy to get on and play, though (during weekdays at least). I'd expect play to slow on the weekends because the course is quite narrow. It will punish spray-and-pray players. Probably 80 percent of the fairways can't be missed by more than five yards.

I found the staff to be noticeably nicer on my most recent visit, so that's a plus.

Great value for the course. Fun layout with a few challenging holes unfortunately a monsoon came and I was unable to finish a full 18 but still had fun.
