Meadows/Woodlands at Shaker Run Golf Club

The course was an unusually poor shape, very ragged, bunkers, grass growing in them, fairways with dead spots, the greens were fairly normal. Normal everything else was very poor in condition. Pace of play was brutal, we quit after 5 hours on hole number 14 starting at 9:40 a.m. on a Wednesday.

The layout is amazing, not sure why the cords condition was so bad.

The course overall in good shape . Thier are some fairways in disrepair . Looks like from drainàga or some typevof fungs . However still good track that will challenge your game .

Haven’t played there in about 10 years. It was awesome just like I remember. I played the original 18.

The pace was horrible. There was a threesome ahead of us and a foursome, including a 10-12 year-old boy who literally had at least 3 holes open in front of them. There was no ranger to move them along. The 3-some ahead of us left after 9 holes - drove by and told us they couldn't get any rythm in these conditions. I take my grandsons (11 & 14 golfing) but I emphasize pace of play and move them along. If the parent doesn't know any better, the golf course personnel should.

Had a confirmed reservation as a single and was on the tee sheet, but when I showed up to the course, they had allowed the original threesome to add a fourth and wouldn’t honor my tee time. Refunded my payment and wasted half of my day. Do not schedule here.

1st 9 was doing well and course fine and in pretty good shape especially with all the rain. Roughly 2:20 to play but again very wet and understandable. Then 20 minute delay at turn for preordered food but line exceptionally long. Then 20 minutes per hole after the turn. We quit with 4 holes remaining knowing that our 8:30 teetime wasn’t going to get us done until 3pm or later. Disappointing driving past beautiful hole 18 that was empty other than foursome approaching the box there and the rangers overlooking the snack bar.

The only things keeping me from giving all 5 stars were that some greens had a lot of ball marks on them. To avoid spending a lot of time cleaning up our putt lines, we just moved our ball a bit to avoid some.

And some fairways had some bad areas. But again, we just adjusted the ball to be fair. I mean if you get in the fairway, there should be green turf under your ball! If you have never been here, you have to check it out!

Although this was a great day for Golf and the course was in great shape. I have a problem with the course restaurant closing just after mid day; this made it impossible to get a sandwich or other to eat, at the turn, of which, this was the name of the restaurant. Outside of this, go play this course, I don't think you will be disappointed with any of the 3 9's!

Exciting layout.with lots of doglegs and elevation changes in almost every aspect hole.

We really enjoyed our round today. The course is in good shape, with a couple of holes being CPO, no more than usual so it wasn’t a problem. The holes are unique and in some cases beautiful, especially those around the lake. We are going to put this course on our regular rotation and will be back soon.

I walk into the pro shop to check in and stand in front of the register where a young lady is furiously scrolling on her phone, 45-60 seconds later she finally acknowledges me.

There were two starters, one was a gentleman that felt he was far more important that he actually was and the other was cordial. I am a starter/ranger at my local course and never give people a hard time or attitude.

The course itself was in decent shape, many greens had oil or hydraulic fluid all over them from poorly maintained equipment however.

I hate to sound like Debbie downer here but if I'm paying $50 to play a course I don't want to be ignored while checking in and then barked at when I pull up to the first tee because my name is not in your starter sheet since I booked on golf now. The starter seriously drove back to the pro shop to verify I paid even after showing him my receipt. The $6 hotdog and bag of chips was also highway robbery.

I will not return to this course.

Keep it in the fairway or the rough will eat you alive. Had a great time andbit it was a beautiful course and conditions were terrific. Challenging approaches on every hole. Loved it.

Greens hadn’t grown in from aeration, greenside bunkers not maintained

I really enjoyed my round here (Woodlands/Lakeside). The course was in great shape and constantly challenges you. This course still gives you its previous private club feels even though its public. All of staff were very friendly. Pace of play was a little slow but it's a tough course so I understand.

Well behind pace, no rangers out there to speed people up. Directions on course weren’t clear on where to go for the 2nd 9 or bar at the turn.

Exciting and beautiful course with one of the best layouts in Cincinnati.
