Chapel Hill Golf Course
About
Located just northeast of Columbus, Chapel Hill Golf Course has a central location that makes it easily accessible. Its affordable rates make it doubly appealing. The course was designed with players of all skill levels in mind with four sets of tees and some fairways that are open and others that are carved from the forests. The layout tumbles across rolling hills that provide interesting elevation changes and scenic views of the surrounding countryside. There are water hazards coming into play on seven holes. There are some notably challenging holes including the par-4 ninth, but the seventh and 11th are the golf course's signature holes. Built on the site of the former Mount Vernon Bible College, the old chapel now provides a unique clubhouse for the course.

Chapel
The best course and the best price in central Ohio. Course was in great shape. Would like to see something done with the cart paths. Otherwise what a great experience
About as average as it gets
This is a fun course, but like many public courses, it is lacking. The bunkers aren't playable, there's no ball washers, no drinking water every 3 holes or so (which need to come back ASAP). That said, the grass areas are in really good shape, but that's expected this time of year. I'm guessing the heavy rain has prevented fairway mowing though, because it was quite hairy. I had a fairway mower doing his job along side me for 4 holes. Not fun.
Great Course
First time there. I had a great time playing Chapel Hill. Memorial day weekend is normally slammed everywhere but the starter spaced us out nicely. We had a nice pace of play and thoroughly enjoyed the course. I will definitely be back!
Central Ohio’s Best Kept Secret
Course is always worth the drive out here. It’s very peaceful hearing the birds chirp and not traffic whizzing by. The layout is really fun and love the blind shots and elevation changes.
One of the best values (if not the best) in the area. Fairways and greens were in great shape. Cart paths could use a lot of work. Pace of play was a little bit of grind.
Hidden Gems
Always in great condition .. had the first tee time and cruised around the course. The staff are always friendly and the sandwiches at the turn are wishing you would have ordered 2 . I live in Columbus and only a 50 min drive , but always worth it !!!
Great course. Had a blast. They paired me up with a couple retired gentlemen like myself and we had a lot of fun. It was very windy. I'm talking gust
Staff, the staff was exceptionally efficient. Kind And took the time to have a little small talk with me so I enjoyed that food was great. It really can't find any negatives other than the pace of play was pretty slow, but they were very busy and it was very windy
Play it soon!!! Love this time of year...there was nobody out there yesterday...beautiful day...housemate jersey pork sandwiches...27 awesome holes of golf we had!! $32 hot deal...nuff said
Greens weren't holding normal trajectory shots, but rolled very well....one of my favorite courses, especially for hot deal price $32!! House made jerk pork, shredded chicken sandwiches, coney sauce for chili n cheese dogs are all on point! If you haven't played here and you love scenic holes/ tee shots, put it on your list now before the drought of summer gets here!! Lol
I loved the layout, challenging in some ways easy in others. The course conditions were amazing and the greens were immaculate. I will be bring my two brothers back here to play eventually, as this left a lasting impression on me.
Chapel Hill is hilly if you can believe that
I would say Chapel Hill is a pretty fun course very challenging with lots of uphill and downhill shots. It would be a tough walk I believe. sometimes the shots are blind, which I don’t mind but on a busy Saturday can be a little scary unless you drive your cart up to see if everything is clear that would be a lot less fun if you’re walking. Very pretty view views from a lot of the holes.
Great layout, good pace of play... good value for your money...staff very professional..worth the drive to play
