The Hollows Golf Club - Lake/Cottage
About
Hollows Golf Club boasts three unique nines that are played in different 18-hole combinations. Conveniently, the greens fees are applicable all day, which gives you the opportunity to try out all three. The nines: Cottage, Lake, and Road, are varied enough to appeal to a wide range of skill levels. The Lake/Cottage combination features the most water of the three golf courses. The Lake nine wraps around a massive lake, the centerpiece of the 27-hole course. There are also a few small ponds that come into play on the front nine. The Cottage nine only has water on the third hole but this tough par 3 leaves a lasting impression. It is the Cottage's signature hole that not only features water but also an 8-foot deep bunker on the left.

Golfer Reviews
Hollows
Great price point but pace of play has become a serious problem here. It is not unusual to have 2-3 groups on the same tee box. I wish they would spread their tee times out more and/or have a starter to try and help prevent this issue. About half the tee boxes are in very rough shape. Most fairways and greens are decent.
Not to bad
Packed. Hard to find parking spot
72 degrees in October that's why
Much better than most of summer
Greens really fast.
Wouldn't pay the regular green fee but using golf now hot deal makes it worth it
Playable course without being extremely difficult!
This is my home course and I love the 3 nine hole design however I think it needs a better distribution of players so pace of play on weekends can go faster. I also don’t think walkers should be allowed to play during peak play (9-4pm.) on weekends.
The greens are still in need of improvement. There are too many divots and overall matted down turf. Hard to read the pace with so many challenges.
Great the new cart building is going up so maybe new carts coming soon?! Ball wash on course now is nice but want 100 and 150 markers next.
Enjoyed playing here
Brought my family for a weekend golf to this course. It was fun and memorable. Will do it again.
Grass is filling in
Ciourse is well maintained but could use some watering. Greens have a few bare spots on some holes but mostly smooth. Ground is hard due to the abundance of clay so the ball is bouncing and extra roll
A mixed bag
T to green in good to very good condition. Some bunkers haven’t been raked in weeks. Carts are long in the tooth. Tried a few before finding one that seemed willing to do its job. Pace of play wasn’t monitored and despite multiple groups with only 2 or 3 players it was VERY slow.
Beautiful Course Great Staff
The course was beautiful and the staff was friendly!!! Will play again
Good golf
Course on good shape pace of play was good with a busy schedule
Okay
Nice layout, poor greens, weeds in fairways/greens, big bald patches in certain greens. Tee boxes in rough shape. Was expecting more for the money.
Slow holiday
Labor Day morning round at 8:50 am, front nine took over 2.5 hours partly thanks to them letting three twosomes in a row go out in front of us. Back nine was a little faster, still took 4 hrs 45 minutes for 18, waiting on every shot. Thankfully the weather was nice.
Tee boxes pretty beat up in places. Fairways hit or miss. Rough too thick in spots. Greens not bad, just a little slow.
I’ve never left The Hollows thinking I waisted my money.
It’s not over priced, over crowded, or under staffed. The 3 different tracks seem to keep things running smooth and it’s looks like they continue to make improvements. A couple a greens had some bare spots but I’ve seen worse at some really big named courses.
Nice course
The Hollows is made up of three nine hole courses of which most golfers play two on a given day. I've played this course twice and both times the cottage course (the other two are the road and the lake) was closed. In general it's a short course and most holes are wide open. I confused a few times which green to play. My one complaint is that there aren't any yardage markers (200, 150, 100) on any hole. The course is well maintained and there are water jugs every few holes. We played midday on a Friday with little wait time, if any, between holes. All in all a nice place to play.
Fairways
Fairways were in great condition! The tee boxes were hit and miss, some were well cut with grass and others were thick and not cut. The greens were solid and fast, freshly brushed. The pace of play is usually slow on the weekends, due to tee times being only 8 minutes apart
The staff is friendly.
Hollows golf
The course was in good shape but was really slow, lots of people
although the course was a good value, the ground conditions were very wet in a lot of places. drainage issues are a concern at this course
