Hanover Golf Club

Hanover Golf Club is a challenging course where landing spots are very important on several holes. Normally in very good condition, I was surprised at how thick the fairways were. Not sure why the fairways had not been cut especially coming off a weekend.

Decent course and much cheaper than courses in New Kent. If you book with Golf Now it is $10 cheaper, which doesn't make sense to me. They also charge a 20% service fee in the clubhouse restaurant. I inquired about it before paying and received an unsatisfactory response from the staff. $10 for about 20 range balls also seems a little high!

In Richmond visiting family. My dad and I wanted to get out earlier than our tee time to avoid some weather. They were more than accommodating and were very friendly in the clubhouse/bar. The starter was fantastic and gave us an awesome overview of the course, and even chased a ball down for us after we gave up looking for it. Highly recommend!!

This course is in great condition coming out of the winter months. Enjoyable 80+ degree day with buddies for an early Spring round.

You know some days you got it and some days you should have stayed home today I should have stayed home, Course wasn’t bad today seems like they are really trying to get the greens to come in I’ve definitely seen them in worse shape. Cart path only obviously with the weather conditions. Over all it’s a decent course one to keep in the rotation.

They have absolutely turned this course around! It’s a tougher layout, but absolutely fun and makes you think about every shot! For the money you can’t beat it! A++

This course used to be nice. It is very average now with slow play. Rough is so bad you annoy find your ball. Greens are beat up. Not well maintained

The front nine holes were in a hilly / valley terrain while the back nine was mostly a flat terrain. The fairways and the greens were well maintained. However, if a ball goes into the second cut, it’s a challenge to find it if it sinks into the gross. The staff are very helpful. We experienced a thundershower so after 30 min. there was some water logging. Overall. We will definitely like to play here and recommend it.

I drive eighty miles round trip to play this course , nothing more need to be said.

Greens need work, grass in the rough needs to lowered. Lost balls in the fairways.

Course it’s very nice layout very well. Nice drop off on some walls. Tight weather is definitely affected a lot of courses up there in Richmond with the rain in the heat, but otherwise in that would deathly play it again.
