Bensalem Township Country Club

The course was in pretty good shape considering it had poured heavily the day before! The only issue was cart path only (I understand) which really slows down the pace of play to a crawl. I wish we had known that ahead of time as we probably would have cancelled the round.

The senior tee boxes were horrible. Please spend a few bucks on them.

Otherwise we love the course.

Ps. You must do something about the geese on the 8th or 9th. Can’t Remember which.

There must have been 30 camped on the green.

What a mess.

Bensalem is a solid course! But nothing special. The tee boxes need some work and as does the hole 4 green.

Overall, it was a good experience. Very solid. Not great but not bad.

If you’re looking for a great time at a Public course followed by food and refreshments afterwards, this is your next place to tee it up.

I love this place. It’s tough but fair if you’re patient.

Mr. Bogan and his staff are awesome and make you feel like family.

I wish I could get over there more often

Overall a nice spot, very straightforward course. Not a lot of quirks or super difficult holes. Fairways were in pristine condition. However, the greens were rough. Very fuzzy and slow. A couple greens looked like they had a fungus issue. One green looks almost too far gone. Course was pretty backed up but not surprising on a Saturday morning. Staff was nice. Solid halfway house. Not sure if worth 75 for 18 holes.

The course is in as bad a shape as I’ve ever seen it, the bunkers are over grown, multiple greens are in terrible shape, the rough is weed in many spots, and many tee boxes are way over grown.

It’s been three years since I played here, the reason being every time I play here it’s almost à 7 hour round. Today moved regularly at the 4 o’clock twilight time, but this time it was the course conditions. The fairway grass was as long as the rough, the greens grass was the length of fairway grass, the tee boxes were horrendous, and the greens were just plain horrific. The bunkers were almost solid dirt, and and for whatever reason the entire area lace smelled like a land fill. I gave this course one last chance but I will NEVER play bensalem country club again. I would rather not play then be put through the aggravation this dump causes.
