Golden Oaks Golf Club in Fleetwood, Pa. is considered one of Berks County's finest courses with a four-star rating from Golf Digest, which also named it as one of the top "Places to Play." It was voted the "Best Public Course" by readers of Berks County Magazine. Designed by local architect Jim Blaukovitch, the golf course has a classic design that appeals to players of all skill levels. The course has wide, inviting fairways but there are also some challenges provided by the rolling terrain, featuring elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Be prepared for a variety of uphill, downhill, and sidehill lies. Trees line Golden Oaks Golf Club's fairways and strategically placed bunkers protect the greensides. The golf course has some tricky holes but it's not overly punishing for the high handicapper.

Great Course

The layout was great, greens were in GREAT condition and they are huge greens. Some of the bunkers need work but that’s my only complaint. The halfway house if extremely accessible and has really good deals on food and beverages.

Slow group out front.

We had a very slow 4 some 2 groups in front. Never got asked to move quicker or anything. Had to stop after 17 cause of daylight we certainly let known of that.

Sand traps have gotten unplayable at this point unfortunately. Definitely pull your ball out of some rock pits.

Most great shape otherwise.

Burgers at the turn are always awesome

Sand traps

The one issue with thesand traps was that the traps were totally free of sand. They were mud and rocks - other than that very nice Golf Course

Very nice course

Played here Sunday 9/13 after some good rain the night/morning before our round. . Course was in pretty good shape even after the rain. Live about 50 miles from the course, but always really enjoy playing this course. Staff was all very friendly. Forgot my GPS on cart and cart person hunted me down after our round to return it. Really appreciate that. Will definetly be back.

Aeration

This is a overall statement or request for all courses. Have the date of aeration of greens or a note when making tee time. Not that we are pros but if you have a wager or tournament that can effect outcome it would be good to know.

Very nice layout and course conditions are great. They did aerate the greens but they played great and we did get a discount. Staff is very friendly.
