Solid Course
Fun course with some target golf and some let it fly holes. Always enjoy playing here.
A course for all skill levels
A good course with some challenging holes. Friendly staff . Driving range in good condition, Practice green needs some repair.
Fantastic round
The starters here take their job seriously. The pace was perfect and a ranger even checked up on us on the back nine. He wanted to make sure all was good. This is a course designed for an intermediate player and a great course for a beginner too. Those that are advanced I would suggest playing off the back tees which could be more challenging for that skill set. Excellent conditions with some tricky putting. Tip play the front nine 5’s to the right side. Last, my foursome had a player knock in a hole in one on the 10th hole. Awesome! That made for a great day. Highly recommend playing here. I will be back soon.
Philips park
Got lucky on memorial day with a 10am tee time for under $50. Pace of play was right at 4 hrs for 4some to get through 18. Driving range was in good shape, food at the turn was great, and course conditions were solid. Have definitely played here before and couldnt say the same. Was pleasantly surprised and had a great time.
Phillips Park 5/14/2026
I’ve played the course numerous times every year. I am always impressed by the condition of the course. Love their carts. Not only seeing the hole layout but you can listen to music as well. Prompts coming in to order ahead. A very fair course for all types of players.
Great value
Not a flat course which is great for the Midwest. Had a lovely round and great friendly people
It's a nice course
I really enjoy playing this course. The condition was great!
Enjoyed my first round of golf for year greens a little hard to keep the ball on the greens Definitely worth it I will be back many times this year
Nice track for the first round of the season
Weather finally cooperated and got out for the first time this spring. Windy and cool , but not too bad. Course was in decent shape with lots of blooming tulips and bright green grass. Most of the traps were either flooded for rock solid due to the recent heavy rain, so we moved balls back to the grass instead. Got a pretty good Hot Deal with a $50 Rory deal after his Masters win. Had a nice hot dog at the turn and a couple of beers afterwards. All in all a fun day although my game needs improvement.
Good value and forgiving layout
Love Phillips Park. Great value with challenging but forgiving layout for players of all skill levels. Pace of play was good with rangers active on course. Four hour round on a Saturday afternoon.
Ranger and range balls
It rained hard on Friday night the 17th we got a text Saturday morning so we knew going in it would be cart path only no big deal. We got about halfway done with hole 6 and ranger tells us we are behind pace to close the gap to early in the round to fall behind, We were only 10 minutes behind according to the GPS on the cart. Group behind was just teeing off on 5. We just looked at the ranger and said what do you expect it is cart path only, no comment from him, No reason for telling to pickup the pace. Cart path only is always going to slow you down.
Love this course and play it just about every Saturday, but it is time for some new range balls. The balls are really beat up and have a lot of gouges in them half of them fly like knuckleball's.
Fun Course
Course was in very good shape considering how much rain we have had. Pace was excellent. Only issue is clubhouse was closed when we finished at 5:45 p.m.
Good layout, but poor maintenanace
This course used to be one of my favorites in the area. But, maintenance has been deteriorating. You cannot blame the weather because, other nearby courses are in much better shape.
