Tamarack Golf Club
Tamarack Golf Club is a course that will test your shot-making skills yet it is still player-friendly enough to appeal to all skill levels. Pete Dye designed the course with tight, sculpted fairways and undulating greens that come in a range of sizes. The layout offers plenty of challenges with water or sand coming into play on every hole. The golf course will test your accuracy but it is not as difficult as many other Dye designs. The third is one of the toughest holes. A severely undulating green protected by deep bunkers makes placement vitally important on this par 3. The 15th is one of the back nine's more challenging holes. It presents an interesting risk-reward opportunity with a myriad of teeing options. Water lines the entire right side and the two-tiered green is flanked with bunkers to the front and right.

Never liked course and still don't
Never cared much for this place, haven't played it since before covid because they raised Sunday early pricing to $60. It was barely worth the $30 I paid yesterday. Course was in horrible shape, pace of play was terrible and no ranger to move people along. I won't be back regardless of price. Well maybe if it was $15....
Due to the weather , we were the only ones on the course at 11:40 am. It’s a beautiful course but full of challenges. The layout on the scoreboard was very small and useless but the fairways were clearly marked at 200 yards and every 50 yards to the green I would recommend a round here to all my friends and go back often.
Not like it used to be
First time playing this year. Bunkers look like they have not be touched all season - some with big rocks all over, plastic visible, no rakes.
Tees, fairways and greens in decent shape, but the bunkers were so bad they were a distraction from what I think used to be a beautiful slightly difficult course.
Carts did not seem to have been cleaned in quite a while. No water on the course. No hotdogs at the turn.
In my opinion, overpriced for the current condition.
Sad to see a course like Tamarack go to waste due to lack of maintenance obvious signs lack of personnel to manage course and amenities.
Our Favorite Course
The course offers best value for money spent. We have played here many times and have never encountered any problems, not with staff, not with pace of play, not with course conditions, not with cart path only rules etc. When other golf courses have raised rates ( we stopped going there ), Tamarack has kept rates low. Their booking portal works perfectly, never had an issue. When I had left my viewfinder in the cart, it was there the next day for me to get it back.
The green were in great shape, held approach shots and rolled fast and true. My only negative feedback would be that there was no sand in the sand bottles to fill in divots. Even at the turn, all bottles were empty except for rain water
