About
Built along the Santa Cruz River, Haven Golf Course offers scenic views of the Santa Rita Mountains. Built in 1967, it is Green Valley’s oldest golf course and the only course in the area where walking is allowed. The landscape is covered with mature pines, palms, and eucalyptus trees. There are water hazards and strategically placed bunkers coming into play, but overall the golf course has an enjoyable, player-friendly layout. In addition to the 18-hole course, the Haven Golf G.C. facility features a nine-hole, par-3 golf course called Tortuga. There is also a complete practice facility with all-grass hitting stations that provides excellent short game practice.

Won’t let me cancel
Bought a tee time for the wrong day and we were supposed to play the day before so we went to the course and bought a round now they won’t let me cancel for the day I accidentally bought
Improvements
Was happy to see they where improving some of the tee boxes.
Mow your greens!
We played today (Sunday) @ 7am. They didn't mow. Didn't mow the fairways. Didn't mow the tee boxes. Most importantly, didn't mow the greens. There was pine needles all over the greens, so you'd have to clear debris for 2 minutes on every putt. Stimping @ maybe 6 (being generous) is bad enough. But if they'd mowed, at least the greens would be free of debris. It's Sunday you clowns! Take a little pride in your product. $80 to perform yard work for 4 hours. Lol
Final Rounds of the spring
Tees and greens are great. Some fairswaYS starting to have brown spots. Traps are typical for AZ. Pace of play was great. Finished in 3:40

Enjoyable round of golf. Good course layout and nice wide fairways. Will be back.
Good Course
Haven is good the wind was extreme Sunday and made it a tougher time, had some slower golfers in front that need to learn to let people pass so it keeps the pace for all not just them
Nice course- good value.
Very nice course, tree lined, minimal desert conditions. Greens are firm but roll true. Typical that bunkers could use some sand, but not too many rocks in them at least. Everyone we dealt with were so friendly. We were just passing through the area and found this course….worth the stop.
