Lake Presidential Golf Club

I enjoyed our round at Lake Presidential. The course is challenging which requires you to ensure you are mindful of your club selection.

There were issues with system which required cart path only for a few holes but overall a great experience (again)!

Despite a lack of rainfall, the course was very soggy. 100% car path only. Numerous balls were "lost" in the fairways due to the water-logged conditions. We found a few completely plugged, although not always our ball. Hard to explain as I live in the area and we have not had much rain in the last week or so.

A few holes we didn’t even have a T box, basically hitting from the rough along side the T boxes. Numerous fairways have been beaten on, no one repairs the divots, the players do not value the course. Greens, same thing, few players repair the divots on the greens. Course has potential but I’ll wait till next year before going back. Disappointing.

Green was bumpy, no maintenance. Fairways wasn’t maintained well. A few holes had Tee Boxes relocated to a sloppy area…

Scene was good though.

Tee boxes were awful and there was only fairway or rough, no first cut. Also roughs were so deep you could not find ball if you were not in fairway. Greens and fairway were great. Some fairways were very soggy and balls would plug almost all the way.

Extremely slow. no marshalls in course to move a 6-some along so waited about 5-10 minutes on every tee. Would like to play again if they didn't allow 6-somes and incredibly slow play.

Horrible! 4 groups waited on the first tee waiting to tee off. Starter when present had no idea what was going on. Tee times were being made up. We started a half hour late. Asked for a refund offered a rain check for a course I would never want to play again. Total round 6.5 hours after we tree off half hour late. This is how courses close down, which is exactly what is happening!

Lake Presidential is one of the most challenging tracks around yet the upkeep makes me sad. They have lost tee boxes, the greens are too slow and they don't maintain any of the off areas of the golf course.

Compared to the last time (2+ years ago) the course is in shambles. I do understand unpredictable weather patterns…

Staff was great.

Course was pretty nice fairways were nice, tee boxes were a little rough especially the forward tees. Lots of rolling hills, some of TBE holes were cart path only made fora long hot walk. Pace of play was great on the front 9 but I thunk lot of players just play the back a cause it got really slow after the turn. Overall had a good time!

Love the new carts. But what happened to the course, at least 10 tee boxes completely fone down to dirt. There are several areas in fair ways gone, some bunkers have ALOT of rocks in them and unplayable. Come on Lake Presidential and having the audacity to still charge premium prices. This is by far the worst i have seen this course in 3 years. I want even mention the pace of play as we waited 5 min on 1o out of 18 holes.

The round took six hours. Only two people were working. They were working hard and very pleasant. But they couldn't handle the amount of work needed to be done. Please get a golf marshal to enforce pace of play.

The course is beautiful and deserves better.

I’ve been playing at this course for a few years and it’s sad to see how downhill it’s gone. The conditions aren’t the worst given the time of year but for $100+ you’d expect more. They’ve recently upgraded their carts and it’s blatantly obvious they trying to recoup the investment. My 9am tee time was so backed up that I didn’t tee off until almost 9:30, on top of that, forced to wait 5-10 minutes on each tee box. This is a direct result of overbooking play and lack of enforcement of basic golf etiquette. I’m not sure if there was change in management but I would not recommend playing here unless you plan for an almost 6 hour round.
