Oak Creek Golf Club

I grabbed a colleague and we decided no more top golf and no more clinics time to get out on the greens. We only complied 9 but next time we will do 18.

I play here regularly the new GM is doing wonderful things however the bunkers are just a disgrace. We played them as ground under Repair. People are getting better at replacing their ball marks on the green.

If you enjoy 5+ hour rounds, losing balls from good shots, 6” rough, and unraked bunkers with rocks in them, this is your place! Unfortunately, I don’t and simply will never go back.

Fairways are beautiful greens were beautiful layout was beautiful. The rough was gruesome. Plan on an extra 45 minutes to an hour pre round looking for balls in the rough. Even if your group usually finds the fairway the group in front of you will not.

Course was good. Greens were a bit slower due to some rain but overall a good round and played in just over 4 hours.

The makes this course almost unplayable! They were all my shots but just off the fairway is too penal.

Lots of unrepaired ball marks makes what would be excellent greens into average greens.

Much worse than it used to be. The greens were slow and uncut, the rough was overgrown, and both water coolers we saw over 18 holes were empty.

Our cart completely stopped working and when we called the pro shop, the employee was sarcastic and completely unhelpful. Not the first time that this person has been rude to me. Thankfully, the marshal eventually helped us out.

Not sure what happened to management here. This course has gone seriously downhill. Very disappointing.

This course used to be one of the more prestigious and highly regarded in the area, but it is clear that reputation has left Oak Creek. Bad conditions, staff that is always in a poor mood and outrageous prices now define this club. New management is definitely necessary, because since Steve J took the job everything has gone downhill!

Course (tees, fairways and greens) was in better shape than when in played there in July. Although it rained fairly hard on Sunday not a single bunker had been touched on Tuesday. Based on general condition not sure they are regularly maintain regardless of the weather. Range mats are in desperate need of being replaced. Overall OC delivers a fairly good experience

2nd time playing here. Last time was around same time last year . Conditions are still the same as then, so that is staying the management is taking good care of the course.

The fairways, traps and tee boxes were in above average shape. The greens could be a little better, but that lies more on the golfer himself. Way too many divots that are not repaired.

PLEASE FIX YOUR DIVOT and maybe one or two more while you are at it. But for the most part, the greens were fast and somewhat TRUE. Underfoot the greens felt soft, but because of the 10 MPH constant breeze on a sunny day, I had a hard time getting the right lag on my long putts. The course favors right-handers for those occasional fade-slices .

The staff does a go job teaming up singles, so the pace stays constant. My round took 4:20 mins in scatter golf cart rules, but felt fasters and only waited 15 mins to tee up at the turn ( 10th hole) . IF there was one thing management could do in the short term, that is to provide a bottle or two of sand/seed mix so we can at least fix a few fairway divots. The carts had a place for them , but none was on the cart. Also no GPS on carts for those that have the question.

I recommend and will play again .

Haven’t played here in 8+ years, course was in amazing condition (tee-green). Only one complaint, wished they had drinking water on the course.

Got a great deal on GN, had a great pairing & pace of play wasn’t that bad.

The greens were super slow and it seemed like no one fixed their divots.

I felt like a greens keeper fixing at least 5 in every hole. But there were probably 25 per hole to be fixed.

The grass was very burned out in many areas all along the fairway.

I have played this course 5-6 times. Usually it’s in great condition. This was the worst ive seen this course.The tee boxes were in bad shape with all par 3s hitting off dirt not grass and everything hitting off plane. It was like putting on a mine field for about

2/3 of the holes. Disappointing for the price paid. I’d rather play enterprise and renditions
