About

The golf course at the Colorado National Golf Club is an 18-hole, public course that is situated just 20 minutes north of Denver. Jay Morrish designed the formerly known as Vista Ridge golf course with a traditional links-style layout. The course covers 7,579 yards of golf from its longest tees and plays to a par of 72. Rolling fairways lined with native grasses and large, undulating greens make the golf course interesting, while beautiful views of snow-topped mountains provide pleasant scenery. The course has many bunkers as well as water hazards. Colorado National Golf Club also features five sets of tee boxes for golfers to work on a number of different handicaps.

Decent course

We played here and it was overall decent. Course conditions were mostly decent, greens were great, some soggy swampy spots on fairway to deal with. Cart path only on 3 holes weren't ideal. What we didn't like was the pace of play. Group of college kids in front of us wouldn't let us play through. We'd finish our hole and drive up to next tee box to find out they were still on next tee box. This happened repeatedly!!! Ranger didn't do anything about it, completely busy day and there was 4 open holes in front of them. Took us 5.5hrs to play 18 holes!!! RIDICULOUS!!! We won't be coming back to play.....

Colorado at sunset

Beautiful, challenging course...home of the Colorado Buffalo. We loved the layout and scenery of the course. Had a great time with another couple we just met trying to stand strong for the challenge. I'd play it again and recommend it later in the day to experience the sunset behind Mt range....Awesome !!!

Great course, had a great time

The course plays long (we played from the second to tips) but it is very manageable. Lots of room on the fairways for a stay drive or 2 to not be horrible. They punched the greens recently so it was hard to tell how they were when in prime shape. (Not complaining I know they have to do it some time) overall great course for the price, will play there again soon!
