Macroom Golf Club

The most enjoyable course I’ve played. Short but immensely challenging in places. Good approach shots are essential and rewarded if completed. Far more interesting to play than the majority of parkland courses, most of which are more than 4x the price of macroom.

Great course. Front nine is hilly.

Had an enjoyable round of golf at this nice parkland course. Plenty of buggies available, and clubs for my friend to rent.

Front nine on a hill, Hardly any flat lies, Will test your ability for every ball position. With a 2-club wind in play on the day made for a tough test!

Back nine a more level affair, with plenty of water to make it interesting; again that wind definitely made me think about club selection.

All that said, this is a very good course with plenty of variety in the layout of the holes. Will definitely return.

Difficult front 9 as some hilly holes that require long and accurate shots. Great back 9 with river and ponds as features. The greens were in great condition throughout the course.

Beautiful course with top quality greens. Great food available in clubhouse.
