Golf Club of Dublin

First time playing the Golf Club of Dublin. The layout and greens are stellar. A large variety of holes. Short, long, right, left, just a stellar layout! The greens are just as good. Large, undulating, tiered, they standout as just fantastic. Unfortunately, the area has received lots of rain over the last few months and the bunkers, fairways, and rough reflect it. The fairways were wet, grass was long, and the rough was US Open like in length. I hope the Fall can be much more kind to the area with the rainfall. Love to return to catch the place in drier conditions.

Course was well maintained. The back nine was under repairs from the recent bad weather. The front nine was excellent outside of the recent greens aeration. Otherwise, it was easy rolling across the, I played the front nine twice.

When buying tee.time ,no warnings about very wet conditions and cart path only.I did not drive 2 hours to play on sloppy ground.

It has rained for 11 straight days in this area. We showed up at 8:50 for a 9:36 tee time. There was water standing everywhere. We figured the course was closed but no!, it was open. No rain check. It had mostly stopped raining by 9:36 so away we went. Cart path only and many places on the path were flooded. The tee boxes squished with water everywhere you stepped. Casual water everywhere. Greens drained well and were fast. It didn’t rain during our round but I have never played a course this wet. It should have been closed. I have played here before and actually is a favorite of mine but it is expensive and in this particular case, as I mentioned, should have been closed. Outside of all the water, the course was in great shape except for all the morons who don’t fix their ball marks on the greens.

Overall I found the experience well below what it was in years past. The course has 0 drinking water, which is fine they want to Monetize as much as they can; but there was no beverage cart for 2.5 hours (hole 9). The greens were also really beat up with extensive ball marks that were not repaired. Overall just not a $100 golfing experience when it’s a Sunday afternoon with extreme heat and you can’t get any water.

I’m not sure if the ownership changed but it was well below normal of 2020-2025.

Do not buy the Golf Club of Dublin membership. They completely blocked Friday and Saturday tee times this peak summer (July and August) for corporate outings and leagues. Paying for a very expensive membership just to be locked out of prime weekend times during the best part of the season is a joke. I feel completely ripped off by their greed. They take your money upfront and then sell your tee times to external groups. Save your cash and go elsewhere.

Played nine holes in the evening. Course is in great shape and has fast greens. Pace of play was slow. For 9 holes $55 is a bit steep.

I always enjoy playing at Dublin. I don't do it all the time,but when I do the course is always in great shape, the fairways are perfect the greens where in great shape considering the heat. Alays a good time

The wife and I played this track in 3 hours?!?!

Yes, I know but it was 900 degrees and it was a noon tee time with no one ahead of us. Caught a single on 17.

The course was in excellent condition. Have played here the past few years prior to attending the Memorial. Pace of play was excellent and enjoyed the greens and fairways. Solid value.

Easy course that is a bit short, but worth it for a quick 9.

The Golf Club of Dublin is in great shape already this year. The rough is very high and penal for sure.

Really enjoyed the day at Golf Club of Dublin. It was cart path only, and we waited for the group ahead of us on almost every shot. Other than that, the course was in great shape for March 9th, the greens were pretty quick and rolled well.

Was in town for a few days and was able to get out as a single. First round coming out of winter. Course was wet and CPO. Even with how wet it was the conditions were great. The greens were slow, but that was to be expected. you can tell in prime season it is upper tier public track for the money. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

The Geese Club of Dublin has nothing but droppings everywhere. Disgusting
