One of Vero Beach's best
Quail Valley is the "it" club for serious golfers in Vero Beach, and it's easy to see why - the course is unencumbered by housing, set a few miles inland from the water. The property is completely shaped from scratch, with the clubhouse sited on a 30-foot hill overlooking the course. The large greens, with broad slopes, were the fastest I'd ever putted on when I played the course in a tournament in May. If you get an invite to this private retreat of a club, take it.
