Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club sprawls across a scenic landscape of native wetlands, an abundance of hardwood trees, and a generous smattering of meandering creeks and sparkling lakes. The beautiful terrain sets it apart from other golf courses in the Atlanta area. The course is known for the numerous grass-walled bunkers filled with pristine white sand that are strategically placed throughout. The player-friendly greens are wide and approachable, but there is the occasional multi-tier to watch out for. The generous nature of the greens also allows for a variety of pin placements. The natural features of the landscape at Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club not only provide beautiful scenery but they also make for a more interesting game since they require you to get creative with your shot-making, especially when trying to figure out how to handle some of the tricky carries.

Course was great, but the foursome in front of us decided that they and everyone behind them would play 5 1/2 hours. I hope management noticed and bans them from the course

The course was well taken care of. The cost was reasonable. My guys and I had a great time and will be back

Good. Course was in good shape. and piace of play was good. I’d recommend it as a fun golf course and not too difficult but challenging.
Course is in good shape and challenging
It took us 5 hours to complete our 18 holes. On every hole we had to wait ond watch the 3 some in front of us tee off. The foursome in front of them were the group holding everyone up. Twice We called in requesting a marshall to come out and speed up play but no one showed up.
Long, challenging & fun.
7200 from the tips and 6400 from the blues. This track was a nice switch up from my normal rotation of courses. Long tee shots and unique hole designs kept the doing fresh and gave me a lot to think about off the tee and from the fairway.
Must Play
I love this course. Awesome layout. Best course conditions in years. Greens Keeper deserves a raise…never seen the greens in better shape than they are right now. I am anxious to play there again soon.
Great course!
This course was great! Greens were slower than they looked, but in perfect condition. Fairways were lush, had great lies the three times I was in the fairway :) Would for sure play again.
Great round
Had a good round of 18. The only complaint was a group ahead of me that had 7 players, so I had to play through a hole to get past them.
Course is challenging and is shaping up nicely especially after the rain we got last week. Highly recommend
Course Review
In today’s economy, everything has gotten so expensive. Paying $88 for a round of golf is a steep price, especially on a fixed retirement income. At this rate, playing here is becoming unaffordable, limiting my visits to maybe twice a month at best. To make matters worse, it's not just the green fees; the course is now imposing a 3% surcharge to use a debit card. My own financial institution doesn’t charge a fee for debit transactions, so being hit with an extra percentage just to pay is incredibly frustrating.
Best kept secret! Tell no one!
Friday is a great day to play this amazing course. It's got great views, not too hilly, lots of water. It's a good test at any level.
Slow play
This was the second consecutive time we did not finish our round. Last week we reached the 18th after more than 5 hours and I was too exhausted to tee off. This past round had golfers skipping around different holes that hindered our play. There was no doubt some golfers moved ahead to the back nine. By the time we reached #13, it became extremely slow and we called it quits. There was a foursome several holes ahead that were taking their sweet time as if the course was solely theirs.
