Frog Hollow Golf Club in Middletown boasts the title of "best public golf course" in Delaware. The course has a links-style layout that is challenging but still player-friendly enough to appeal to beginners, seniors, and juniors. The layout is wide open and quite forgiving but there are still plenty of hazards with which to contend. There are more than 50 strategically placed bunkers throughout the golf course. Their thoughtful placement makes up the bulk of the layout's challenges. There are ponds that come into play on six holes as well as tall native grasses that appear along the fairways and greens. The wind is often a factor on the course too and will test your accuracy even further. Frog Hollow Golf Club's par 3s and par 5s are manageable but the par 4s will test even the best players.

perfect day
General conditions great, front apron of almost all greens (except par 3's ) was very wet and did not allow for bounce to multiple front flag positions. Instead plugged on many shots. OK better than ten foot bounce but must be some middle ground for this issue. Oh well ?
Great Community Golf Course
No issues. Starter was very friendly and gave me the low down. Fun course to play.
Hot sunny day
The Fairways and Greens were very well maintained. The Tee Boxes were a bit rough. The staff was very friendly and informative.
My only complaint would be some of the water coolers were empty. Some did not have cups. We saw the beverge / snack cart only 1 time on the 2nd Tee box. The day was full sun and 88 degrees.
Enjoyable round
The course was in great condition. The greens were fast and undulating but fair. Great value for the cost.
Fabulous conditions
Well maintained and slick greens. Always a great value. Staff was great!
Insanely bad staff
I can not express how much I disliked the staff. The bartender in the turn house was the absolute worst bartender or employee I’ve ever met on any course. Maybe get someone with a brain and manners.
Another great round at Frog
Always a good time at Frog Hollow, from checking in to playing on the course, the vibes are always high! Great staff and well maintained course.
