The St. Anne's Club

The course was in very good shape except for the bunkers. I felt that were not attended well, sand was extremely firm.

It’s the kind of course you can’t play well first time out. You need to be familiar with the holes and routing. There are many good holes and one awful one. 16 is just a bad hole. The tee boxes should be moved up 30 yards to have any chance at the green since the second shot is 100% carry. I’m an 8 handicap.

The more serious issue are course conditions. I’m not sure whether they have a fungus issue or something else but the turf conditions need a lot of work. Some tee boxes didn’t have grass. The greens were pretty good.

My last complaint had to do with needing to show your drivers license to the starter to get a cart. No other course does this and it’s unnecessarily time consuming. And gas carts.

St Anne’s has potential but right now many aspects of the experience need attention.

Water and marsh everywhere. Need to hit em straight and long to score well here.

This course could be great, but, lacks a lot of detail work...Paved cart path, change out the weeds for native plants, maybe some stairs to get to some of the tee boxes. Loved the layout and greens are in great shape.

I played on a Monday morning in July in a two some. I thought the course was in nice shape. Since I was there last, they have added a starter and make you sign a formal liability document to rent the cart. They clearly have had some yahoos out there. Fortunately I have never seen any of that behavior when I’ve played there. I like the layout and even though we were behind some foursomes, we still got around in under 4 hours. Good value for money.

5 hours and 15 minutes for a twosome. Waiting on every shot. Why? Because they had an outing before our tee time. So they booked golfers too close to the outing (which was a shotgun start) and therefore backed up everyone. Once the outing finished, the group in front of us played scramble and were just as slow as before. No rangers in sight, but some young workers were driving around in carts doing nothing, apparently. A regular we saw said that slow play is a common issue here and he's had to quit many times after 9 due to pace of play.

Tee boxes full of weeds and dirt. Some tee boxes were entirely dirt and weeds, so we moved to a different tee box. No way we could hit out of that. Greens were incredibly pitted. Old unrepaired bal marks littered every green. Tons of fresh ball marks unrepaired. Damage/dirt on several greens, and the groundskeepers put some of the hole locations right next to the damaged spots. Some hole locations were borderline unplayable. Fairways in good shape with some patchy weeds throughout. The rough was absolutely brutal. Thick, tall grass (not fescue, just unmowed) and large swaths of clover so thick you couldn't find your ball.

After the round, went to try and find the highlands whiskey bar but all doors closed and locked. Casa 19 in the pool area may have been open, but didn't want to walk through the families at the pool enjoying their day.

Drove an hour and 20 minutes to play here and I probably will never go back. I thought I was getting a good deal for the price, but after that round I felt I overpaid. Much better options in the area in Middletown, Odessa, and Dover areas.

It’s better than the last time I played it, but the course needs a lot of work. The fairways had a ton of old divots with no repairs and the tee boxes were pretty rough. The greens were in pretty good condition but a bit slow. The course also had a ton of geese and everything that comes with that. The entire green at hole 2 was filled with geese. The course has potential, just needs more work.

I play Saint Anne's quite a bit, and the course conditions have definitely gone downhill this year, even in just the last couple of weeks. The layout is excellent (a bit challenging), but the course itself is in very poor condition, much of which is due to the significant problem they have with geese. Several greens are covered in poop, as are most of the fairways. Please get a dog or a pellet gun or something, b/c this is ruining a beautiful track.

They let out a father and 2 very small children out and the kids were continuously needing to be told to get behind the father. I think he was a single or twosome tops and they held up the whole course. There was another twosome directly behind them and then our twosome. We waited on every hole which should not have happened. After 4.5 hours, a horrendous storm came in, and we had to cut our round short. If the small children weren't there, I feel we would've finished in 3 hours. I'm glad they allowed this man to enjoy his day with his kids, but this just wasn't what we were expecting.

This course is not for the average golfer. Fair but tough. Tight driving with tight second shots on the 5 pars if you’re laying up. Lots of water in play. Many plateaued greens. Rough was full of clover and crab grass. Odd routing as you are back at the club house after 6 and then not until 18. Two water locations out on the course and two port o potties. First time playing but will definitely go back and may have to get the course guide book as they are not available for garmin download

Greens and fairways in very good condition. Price of course is tough to beat.

Great course, challenging with the water hazards. I enjoy the mix up of par3 & par 5 holes, it flows really well. I love the new golf carts with ball & club cleaners on them

No humidity and blue skies. NICE. Greens very receptive and rolling good. Only 2 birds ; but had chance for 8 more. Just a little far from pins on those.

Course was in great shape and we had it all to ourselves.

Very good value for the money. Some patches areas on the fairways . Will get better with time.
