Great course

Golf course was in excellent condition. There was a bit of confusion at the first tee. There was no starter, so our group started to tee off. Then the stater came driving up to us and questioned who we were. He wasn't in the starter shack he said he was in the pro shop because the shack didn't have a/c. We got that settled and he drove off. We then proceeded to tee up and the ranger drove up on us from the fairway and asked which group were. We told him with just told the starter and he said he has to know to, so we told him and he drove off. So before we could tee off the starter came back and asked us which group we were. We told him we just told the starter and we previously told you and his reply was something like "I'm in charge here not the ranger". We told him fine but we already told you. He then said I was just checking, go and tee off and he drove back to the pro shop. I don't know how he can keep track of starting groups off from the pro shop. There's a starter shack right at the 1st tee. Put a a/c unit in it. After that everything went great. There was drinking water on every 3rd tee box and the cart girl came around a lot. So there was plenty of chances to get a beverage of choice. The course itself is excellent. Would highly recommend it.

Heron Glen

They put my son and I out behind an outing. There were 4 foursomes on the 10th hole at the same time. I told the ranger who did nothing. If you are going to charge a premium rate then the pace of play should be much better!

Great course

Tight, fun, very well kept course. Exactly what you would want out of a municipal course. Only complaint was that every bunker looked like it had been trampled by buffalos. None of the locals were raking things up which in my opinion is a crime punishable by death.

Great day trip!

Brought two foursomes here and had a great time. Staff was friendly, course was in great shape, I'm sure the restaurant is good as well, we just didn't get to stay around that day. Would come again!

Really nice

This charming course is both challenging and playable. It linksy design provides wide open spaces and scenic views. Great condition. I had an early morning, 7:06, tee time and foursome finished ahead of pace. I think this is a hidden gem.
