About
Carved from the scenic woodlands along the eastern shores of Georgian Bay, Oak Bay Golf & Country Club incorporates rocky outcroppings and natural water features into its challenging championship design. The eastern coast of the bay is one of the largest freshwater archipelagos in the world and is home to diverse flora and hundreds of varieties of birds and fish. Both the fairways and greens are sloped and well manicured. In addition to the many natural challenges, which include trees and ponds, there are numerous strategically placed traps to watch out for. Oak Bay is located less than two hours north of Toronto but its beautiful setting makes it feel much further.

Best course in the area. Can't wait to play there again.
Muskoka golf
Good fairways and greens. Bunkers excellent. Rocks trees water and marshes, the surrounding is a treat compared to links golf.

Stupid golf
This is a course for pros and nobody else.
Extremely tight with no bail out areas.
PGA pros would have a tough time.
No recommend for anybody over a scratch golfer.
Great experience
Very well conditioned and maintained. Greens fast.
Fairways and tees both in excellent condition.
Players especially first timer like myself should check carry distance off of tee to fairway. Some forced carries are very long

Excellent challenge !! We really enjoyed this course and will definitely be back
demanding but fun
If you're an average golfer whose goal is to always shoot a great score, this course is not for you.
If you want to play a very good course and can live with a few killer holes (#9 for one) and can enjoy the fun and know the scorecard isn't that important, go for it. .
You will finish the day with some pars maybe even a Birdie, a few outrageously high holes but you will really enjoy the 19th hole and realize that you've played a very good golf course.
Absolutely will play again and recommend it.

Great course at the "Gateway to the Muskoka's ".
Great staff , scenic, challenging course. Relaxing clubhouse, terrific food. Our 3rd season meeting here with many more to come.

Oak bay
The course was in great shape if there is one thing to worry about on this course it’s the poison ivory all over the place but they have signs everywhere advising you so not really a problem
