FIRST 5 HOLES
If I could evr just have a decent first 5 holes here. The first 5 holes are great, challenging, aggravating, and many other things all in one. Hit it straight and where you want to piece of cake, hit it like me today, not fun to play. But once you get past them course does get easier, but still have to hit your shots. Will continue to play here because one day I will conquer most of the first 5 and shoot a decent score.
A Hidden Gem
I can't say enough about this course. The layout is fantastic. The first 4 holes will test you to say the least. The course condition was excellent. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. You could tell they enjoy their jobs. The clubhouse was immaculate and modern. We had dinner afterwards. The bartender and waitress were great and the food was fantastic. I will be making this a regular spot to play. I highly recommend Lost Marsh.
Solid
I was bitter the last time I played this course. However, my playing partner wanted to return, so we did. I was pleasantly surprised that we did not have to wait very long on most holes and the course was very green even though it's now late summer. Always a fun track, just a question of condition and pace. Both were solid this day.
Course in great shape, except the greens. Clientele that play there must think they don't have to fix divots on the greens. I was fixing 3 to 4 per green. Could have fixed many more.
I love this course great layout just an awesome experience
Worth the drive.
If you live within 1-2 hours from Lost Marsh, you won't be disappointed. Course and club house are in great shape.
Play well early
First 4 holes have water and it seems to come into play on every shot. After that the course settles down and is fun to play. Nice layout Challenging greens. Would definitely go back again.
Nice course Slow Play
I like lost marsh and have played here before but the pace of play was bad 5 hours is too long for a weekday. Granted it was cart path only but waiting each hole for 10 minutes was not enjoyable. I would suggest greater spacing of tee times
The course is in good condition but the green were very slow ( they just need to be rolled)
I hope the Bears don’t move here and tear down the course but it looks like they will so give this course a try before it’s gone
