Castle Dargan Golf Club

I last played Castle Dargan around five years ago and on this occasion I thought it had improved in terms of it’s condition and in particular I noticed lots of drainage ponds off the playing area which made it much dryer overall. Always retained my interest, the par 3’s particularly, very rollercoaster/shute style longer holes, tough walk in parts, a buggy would be a good choice. Recommended, a good alternative to the very expensive links courses on the Coast.

Course was in excellent condition all round. Food afterwards was top class. All staff and were very friendly and professional. Thanks castledargan.

Great course, friendly staff, good value for money. When nearby a must visit! Love to come back there.

Played as a single player. Very impressed with the condition of the greens. The fairways were reasonable for this time of year, I did expect the fairways to be a bit sticky and the club pro supplied me with a returnable mat. My third time staying at Castle Dargan but my first time on the course. Many thanks to the Club Pro and the ground staff for a wonderful day.

Lovely course to play in good weather. Unfortunately the course was completely saturated with rain.

Unfortunately a lovely course is hampered by poor drainage. I wouldn’t like to see it in winter

Course design and layout really good but unfortunately course condition wasn't great, especially tee boxes and greens.

The course has a decent layout but it is very long. Some nice holes and on particularly nice par 3. But the ground holds the water and is very soft even after a little rain.

The staff here were rude and very unhelpful. The food quality upstairs in hotel was not great and overpriced.

Nice practice putting area and it has a driving range where you are not allowed to use your driver so an Iron range?

course was fabulous but the weather wasn't great and there was considerable rain .Good chancallenge and would love to play it in good weathet
