From the fairways of Irving (formerly known as Twin Wells), you can see the skyline of downtown Dallas–a nice aesthetic for this fun, user-friendly municipal. The course is mostly an open, links-style design, although a few holes that roll along the Trinity River favor a traditional-style on the back nine.
Hole 3 stands out on the front: a 437-yard dogleg left that is protected by fairway bunkers. On the back, No. 11 is the most difficult–another long par 4 at 451 yards.
Getting there : From Hwy. 183 east, take Loop 12 south and exit Shady Grove Rd. Turn left, drive a short distance to the course, look for the clubhouse on the right side of the street.

First time playing here, the greens were great, fairways are open, little challenging but it was a great time! I would definitely come back multiple times. Hole 10 you get a glimpse of downtown!

Wide Open Spaces
Fun course, great deal for the money. Greens had a lot of poa - which will die off soon. Have to be careful on parallel holes not to be hit by an errant shot.
