Prairie Lakes Golf Course - Red Course

The course is in good shape with good cvoerage on the tees, fairways & greens. Greens are rolling well but beware the different levels on the greens - you need to be on the same level or below the hole if you want to have an easier putt. Pace of play was an issue with some beginner golfers in the group in front carving the ball all over the place. The real issue was that they were sharing clubs so it took them a while to play their shots but they did let us through & pace of play increased until we ran into the next group struggling to get the ball on the fairways. I guess that's what you expect on a busy course like this. Despite this it was a good course to play with some interesting holes to challenge golfers of all abiliities.

Clubhouse staff, especially unfriendly to people of color. I don’t understand why.

This golf course is my friends and I favorite course to play at, always a go to for us never a hesitation to play here. Great pricing is the first thing and the condition of the course is always great. Little sandy on the greens this last go around but it’s okay. Just feels better than most of the more expensive courses in the area. I love playing here, staff is great, just overall an amazing experience.

We decided last minute to try and find a course for Friday afternoon. Wow, Prairie Lakes was open for $35. When we arrived, they said it’s only $27 for seniors!!! Course was great considering the heat. Nice fairways and greens. David checked us in, very nice guy. Mia handled our beverages, very kind to us. Great afternoon!

The course was great! I played the Whites and Blue nines. The fairways and greens were in great shape. The weather was very hot. Had a 10:15 T time and it was 98 degrees when we finished. I am glad I had brought plenty of water to drink since we only saw the beverage cart once the entire round.

The greens were pretty shaggy but it was a hot Aug. week so I assume they do that to save the grass. It takes several holes to learn how slow they are but they were pretty consistent.

Played the White and Blue course on this day. Pace was a little slow due to alot of foursome on the course and some of them were obviously playing from the wrong tee box. Overall conditions were excellent. Greens were in great shape and hard to read so it left for some.missed shots. Fairways and rough were nicely mowed and in good shape. Only complaints were that water fountains at bathrooms were not working and in 18 holes we only saw the beverage cart at hole 9 and 15. Too hot to not be out with beverages. Will definitely play again and would recommend

The course was very nice! They were hosting a tournament when I played alternate holes. Still, the course was fairly crowded and the pace of play was a bit slow. It’s a great course!
