Prairie Lakes Golf Course - White Course

Played the Red/White as a 4some on a Friday afternoon. Nice layout. Tee boxes and fairways were very nice. Greens were bad...very bumpy and a lot of dirt. I think they punched them about a month ago, but still not good. Pace was pretty good for the front, but they had put groups out on Blue/White so there was a back up on 10. Why?!?! Slow all the way in and no marshal. If the could fix the greens and scheduling, this would be an awesome place to play.

Everything about Prairie Lakes is great. Will definitely play here again.

The course was pretty flooded due to the rain but it still played really well. Everything is well maintained and the staff is super friendly. I dont think there's a better bang for your buck in the metroplex.

The greens are a mess! The fairways are a mess.

Horrific! I wish my vocabulary was more expansive so I would have another word that’s worse than horrific.

We've played Prairie Lakes before. The course was in great shape, despite all the rain that was received earlier. The only issue were the greens. They were a bit bumpy, but still looked great compared to other courses. BE SURE TO GRAB A BBQ SANDWICH!!!!

Golf Now needs to put on website when the courses have ariated the greens. Such a waste of money when courses want to charge full rate when any part of the course is under repair. Therefore I will not be using Golf now in the future.

GolfNow should have some sort of a notice for golf courses that have recently been aerated, punched, and heavily sanded. I know golf courses have to do this, but it really makes putting unrealistic for several days.

This made two courses in a week where you basically don’t have realistic, putting conditions, but you don’t know that until you show up and play.

The greens are really suffering and not improving from aerification 3-4 weeks ago. The rest of the course was ok. Not great but ok. Still, the course layout is still very good and the cost was right for the conditions. The Staff were great with good restaurant and beverage cart available on course. Overall good round in great course layout but the greens have to improve or the place will suffer.

I really liked the layout of the course. There are (3) 9 hole sides - White, Blue & Red. Unfortunately, I only played the white and blue. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially since it was my first time playing here.

The only drawback that keeps this course from being rated as Excellent is the greens need work. They have a lot of weeds in them that prevent a true roll of the putt.

Greens are in Poor shape. Fairways have no grass in the fairways, trash (rocks and out cart paths)piled up along between Fairways golf course is just not in very good shape.

Fairways were good for time of year. Tee boxes were not "too hard" and in decent shape. Greens did have some Poa which hopefully will burn out soon. Sad thing was the amount of groups of 4-5 all playing separate carts and driving up next to many greens and tees. The total LACK of respect of the course was shocking. No one I saw seemed to understand what 90 degree rules means. I heard the pro shop does not really enforce rules??

All of the greens are bumpy and have invasive weeds growing in them. It looks like the Red & White courses are definitely infected by the same issues. Definitely not in any condition for putting successfully 😕

Usually the greens on all 27 holes are above average. At this posting they are bare with weeds.
