Lighthouse Country Club

First time here. Visiting family and decided to play a round. Loved the layout although front nine holes are difficult to read placement of drives. Need a range finder. Back nine more open. Picturesque holes, especially the par three’s. Want to play again now that I know the layout.

The Lighthouse Golf Club is a must-play course in the Kingsland, TX area. It is a beautiful setting with many challenges, primarily the surface Granite in a couple of the fairways, hit that and your ball will get sky bound.

Had not played this course in about 3 years, it was after a winter storm and they had lost their greens. Now the greens are great, as is the total layout of the course. Gets alot of play, so the pace is a little slow but tolerable. The range is good, but could use mats as a backup when reseeding the grass, so that the ground they are trying to get better isn't torn up.

Also the rates to play are good as well.

Nice course it always looks good. It’s very challenging.

Course had benefitted from recent rains making the fairways green but firm. Greens were also firm but in good shape. Wind made it real fun 😁

This was an excellent day until we ran up against fivesomes and sixsomes holding up an otherwise great pace of play day.

Played in Easter. Staff was friendly. Course was in great shape

I’ll admit that I wasn’t expecting much, but the course was better than I thought it would be. Greens ran well and there definitely were some challenges in the wind.

Lighthouse Country Club was a pleasant surprise. The greens ran true and the pace of play was great (one group let us play through), but overall a good experience and would play again given the chance.
