Pedernales Golf Club/Willie Nelson's Cut-N-Putt

We had a wonderful time! The course was a little bumpy! It was fun to watch our balls bounce on the fairway & see how much farther they went! It was well worth the money to say you played here! We laughed & had a great time!!

There’s absolutely no upkeep. Even with the low prices they are charging way too much for how bad the course is. The cart paths are dangerous and you genuinely run the risk of flipping the cart because of how bad the paths are. Fairways are horrific and expect to lose multiple balls from how bad the playing conditions are. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. Worst golf course I’ve ever played. This place makes Hancock look like Augusta National.

The best course for laid back country golf. Best rules of any golf course. No dress code, no stuffy clubhouses. Just the vibe of Willie Nelson and his crew of roadies, sound guys, Poodie

Step into the once private course if Willie Nelson.

Some rounds are good for the handicap. Some rounds are good for the soul. This is the latter. Reloads, Wilson’s or whatever in COLORS. There is some limestone in some of the fairways but it’s the Texas hill country. If you’re expecting a polished country club, this ain’t it. If you want a good place to cut loose and hit balls, this is one of the best

I know it seems cool with the Willie connection but don't waste your time bad conditions course like rocks dirt fairways. Staff will be moody. Prices will be high for the product. Don't waste your time.

Because they don’t water the fairways it is mostly dirt, rocks, and scrub grass. When you tee off , or second shot your ball can ricochet in all different directions when it lands. Also you have to move your ball to the nearest patch to swing or you will tear your irons up hitting off the rocky dirt. If you took a 12 inch square of indoor/outdoor carpeting with you , then you could put it under the ball till you got on the greens ( which were in very playable shape). Some nice scenery, but cart paths were very bumpy and in disrepair.

To start, the owner did not know what GolfNow was so we didn’t have a tee time which we paid for online. It is first come first serve. There is a p00per tee box and a p00per green and then desert in the middle. This course has never heard the word fairway before, nor could they understand what it means. The people there were overly friendly and asked us to join there cult. Overall great experience!

This is the epitome! of all things holy and golf in one. The attention to detail is really next level. I've put my balls in holes all over the world, and Willie's course will leave you itching for more. How they can take care of things on such a moderately charged green fee IDK. Friendliest staff, and the Pro shop! OMG don't get me started!! Cutest lil french Bulldog, Loves to be picked up!!

I knew this course was more of a outdoor fun type over a serious golfers game, and today was no different. Had the course to ourselves so we took some 2nd and 3rd shots on approach on most holes to work on the short game. Drank a few, smoked a few, and enjoyed the view!

Although the greens were consistently okay, the tee boxes and fairways are nonexistent. Picture playing golf on the moon.

I couldn't play the golf eventhough I made a rerservation through GolfNow and made a payment.

The golfcourse was closed for Christmas. But why Golfnow can provide the teetime?

I messed my Chistmas holiday this time.

Now I made dispute with Credit Card in Bank of America because I couldn't play the golf. Accordingly You are requested to cooperate with BoA for the refund of my money for golf rerservation.

This could be a really great course with some help, for the price I paid ($15 for 18) though I give it another go staff still doesn’t want you there and the course is worse, had the place to myself on a Sunday

You don't come to Cut-n-Putt to play real golf. You come to try something entirely different from your country club. First things first, there is no grass in the fairways. None. You will play off matts. Your ball will likely hit a rock or rut and bounce away ... lost. You might encounter an eight-some blasting music. They may or may not be playing in cowboy hats and sandals. I found such a group and didn't let them ruin my round. I simply joined them. They offered me beer, and we played the final two holes as a scramble. Sometimes, golfers just need to get over themselves. All the stuffy rules and traditions aren't necessary everywhere. Certainly not at Willie's Place. Come for the merch in the pro shop and a few pictures. Too serious golfers should stay home.

They havent spent money on this for years it seems. Mostly just raw land with large pockets of rocks and washouts. Fairways dont have grass. they gave us a mat so we could hit off because the fairways are just rock. Im all about roughing it but dont even bother with this place. A round on this course will damage your clubs and make you question life itself! Horrible, never again.

The course has a beautiful layout and right from whole one, you are treated to deer and other wildlife, pretty nice views including some ponds and other water. The greens were beautiful condition, the rest is pretty dry and rocky but we expected as much. We were there to see Willie Nelson‘s course and that’s what we did, and we enjoyed the experience and challenges of rustic hill country golf. Patrick is a wonderful, very hospitable host, and we enjoyed ourselves overall! And yes we will be going back again.
