Course recently aerated, so plugs and sand everywhere. Under dry conditions, this likely wouldn't be bad. I was first tee though, and the wet dew combined with the sand made for funky green play. Green at Hole 6 was very wet, and my ball plugged into the green.

1st tee is my only opportunity to play though... so I'll make due. It's just that time of year now.

This place is perfect for a quick nine holes. Every time I play, the grounds get better

Many upgrades from last visit 3 years ago. Very friendly staff and great comments on the facility from other golfers. Overall conditions very good, some formerly wet areas have been upgraded. Very kid friendly with a really nice play area for toddlers.Great experience, will be back to use upgraded driving range and practice area too.

I hadn’t played here since maybe 2007-08, when I used to play it twice a week. I enjoyed the course and it seemed well kept. Better conditions than when I played back in the day.

I’m just getting back into golf after playing maybe 6 times over the last 15 years. This was the perfect course to work on my short game. I shot it pretty well too, with only one blow up hole on 7.

I’ll definitely be back again on a more regular basis.

I knew what to expect with Buchanan, but haven’t played it in several years. The greens were nearly unplayable. They were shaggy, lumpy, and some edges near the apron were mud and sand. The hole looked like it was cut 2 weeks ago with the amount of grass growing around the edges. Still a fun course.

The facility is amazing regarding all of the family friendly options and food trucks. The driving range was packed. Would be nice to see some funds funnel to the golf course to correct the issues on and around the greens.

Always greeted with a smile from staff and love this 9 hole course! The changes made here invite a new young generation! Love seeing all the little kiddos learn to love the game! As a senior having played here for years it has become e a breath of fresh air for a previously dying course!

Buchanan is a beginners golf course, and new ownership understood that from the get go. They have cut down a lot of the foliage that stole balls in the past and have improved the condition of the grass. It plays better than before and really suits its purpose now. There are family facilities and the range is top notch. Prices have gone up a little, but it’s still a great value. If you’re a new golfer, this every man’s golf course is a great place to level up.

Improvements to the course and the experience keep on coming. Great chipping and bunker practice area is something a lot of courses don’t have these days.

Super fun quick course. It’s walkable too. Great driving range too
