Franklin Canyon Golf Course

Nearly $80 to play on a course they stopped taking care of years ago is shameful. Great location and layout but this course should be labeled as having unfairways as there is little to no grass left.

The course layout is great. The course is fun, challenging, and has beautiful views. So much portential.

Unfortunately, the conditions are rough. The fairways are quite brown, to the point that finding non dirt to play off sometimes involves a ball move of several feet. The back 9 is better than the front.

Some greens are very rough too. Green, but patchy and bumpy.

Having never played, overall, I enjoyed the course. Fir the money, bit sure I would be back.

The course was in horrible condition hard pan everywhere super dry almost lost my ball twice in the fairway to a gopher holes 🕳️

Franklin is in its usual late summer condition- dried out, parched, half grass/half playing off dirt. It's half green, half brown. You can be in the fairway and still be hitting off an area with no grass under the ball. I love the layout and am glad to hear it is not closing, but at this time of year it's pretty brutal to play here. Greens were ok- on the slow side, but mostly smooth, although some greens did have patches of bareness too.

The golf course was ok to play. Fairways were hard surface.

Tee-Off Fee changed after payment was completed and too late to cancel. Tried to get in touch with tee- off but Noone replied.

This course is not as bad as I originally said. It is pretty dang good actually! The practice facilities are better than most places for example Franklin has a nice chipping green and a putting green as well as a full driving range but also they have a sand pit at the driving range for those wanting to really improve their game. I’ve also heard great things about the lessons there from the manager of Franklin who is working very hard to keep the place up to par even with a water shortage in the area. Great job to all Franklin staff and I will always love this course.

One of my favorite courses. First time I heard the news that this club might be closed it was so sad. I think they are not going to close it. Great!

The previous plan for developing the campground has been dropped and the course is getting a larger water amount and is also getting new carts. Great news as it is an enjoyable place to play golf.

Enjoyed to play. Some holes was not in good condition mainly greens.
