Poor Condition
All bunkers played as GUR per starter. Fairways very brown and dry in many places. Burroughing critters have riddled the course with holes. Greens are crispy in places but the coverage is good. Normally dense rough is thin and low. $90 to walk 9 holes on weekends.
If you charge prime rate, the course should be much better maintained.
Been playing this course for years. Love the layout, the views are top tier… but the price has gotten out of control. $90 to walk 9 holes, and an additional $17 to ride?! I understand it’s a resort town and everything is expensive, but if I’m paying that price I’d expect there to be playable sand in the bunkers. All of them have weeds growing inside and surrounding them, and significantly take away from the appeal of the course.
The Views...
Despite the rain and wind over the last 5 holes, the views didn't disappoint! Only a 9 hole track and was rough in some places, but from what I learned the course was on the brink of closing recently before being taken over by Sierra Star. Based on that, the course will only get better!
Amazing views
Great 9 hole course. Beautiful surroundings. Love to play when we are in town.
Beautiful views
Beautiful views of the mountains, fresh air. Great course!
Beautiful Scenary
Very scenic golf course. A number of holes with significant yardage which was great. Still a lot of gophers, but looked like they are working on the problem.
Coarse is not in good shape
Gopher holes galore and a lot of brown grass. Definitely would not pay full price for this place. The reason I gave 4 stars for pace of play is because nobody was there. Now I know why. Played here a few times in past years when it was a solid 4 star course.
No carts and gopher holes everywhere
No carts, not enough employees and gopher holes everywhere.
Beautiful Mammoth golf course
I love playing this 9 hole course. Beautiful setting, course is in great shape, challenging and fun
Windy day.
It was windy, which is common at this course. The views are spectacular and it’s a pretty laid back vibe. The fairways were dried out, it’s basically gravel in the sand pits, and the greens are rock hard. Still it was a good day, golf in the mountains is always good time.
