Don't Let the Length Fool You!
Despite the rather short distance, this course has some teeth - it chewed me up. Altitude, well placed hazards, tight fairways, pine straw, decent rough, and tough greens combine to make this a challenge. The course was in great shape overall and provided some great views of the Sierra's. Sand in the traps could be improved, and the beverage cart showed up on the first hole and never again... Great time hitting the ball too many times! Highly recommend playing if you are in the area.
Amazing course
Great course, great condition, pace of play was perfect, staff is on it, friendly and attentive.
Unfriendly staff
I have played this course many times, but was very disappointed with how I was treated yesterday with my GolfNow pass. They put another group in front of us as a squeeze. The group was slow and kept us waiting the entire day until the 15th hole on every shot. When I asked, they said they were Mammoth golf pass memo not Golf pass so we put them in front. The round took four hours and 45 minutes.
The staff was very helpful and super friendly. The course was in excellent condition. I would highly recommend this course.
Great Golf Course in a beautiful setting
We went up for the 4th of July and we have played here a handful of times. Once again not disappointed. Friendly staff, beautiful course and well spaced out groups. Thanks Sierra Star.
Mammoth golf
The course great shape. Couple good challenging holes. Green were very tough. Beautiful scenery.

The pace of play was great for 1:30 start and course conditions were perfect

Course had great views, pace of play was wonderful, and condition of course was amazing.
Beautiful course. Thought it would be tougher with the narrow fairways, but it was really not an issue.
Challenging but fair
Good shots are rewarded and poor shots punished. The staff were all very professional and willing to help.
Amazing views and course
Beautiful course layout and views. Great condition except greens were slow and bumpy in places. Inconsistent! Always remember elevation is gonna add a good 10 yards to your shots!

The course is aesthetically pleasing and in great condition. All of the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.
Elevation is interesting
Club selection is interesting playing at mammoth lakes elevation. It’s much better to be short if ever debating. Could only use driver on a handful of holes. Overall fun course in good condition
