Pine Creek Golf Club

Good course for our cost but it’s not a $100 course.

Glad I had Golf Now to make this a reasonable cost.

Greens are in good shape. Fairways are struggling g for consistency in grass coverage. Sand traps are rock hard dirt. Cart girl was not friendly. In spite of all that, it was a good day.

This was a very interesting layout for a links style golf course. Challenging for sure. The bunkers there are horrendous. It is obvious that there is no budget for the maintenance of the sand traps. Granted I never landed in one, but they really have been neglected. Greens were very nice and the staff were friendly. Spend some money on the bunkers and this course would be rated better.

This is an extremely challenging course with lots of uphills and bunkers- with the exception of the last hole which was downhill. Condition was generally good – but lots of shrubbery on the right and left of the fairways made it challenging. Do not recommend for a beginner or even a moderate intermediate player.

PC isn't ordinary public golf. Tee box choices make it playable for the newer golfer and a real challenge for a great golfer. Greens are always good. Any faster and there would be trouble, so they keep it playable. Some like really wide open, easy fairways like AFA or Patty...this isn't that. The fun is trying to golf your ball around an interesting layout. This IS that. Fairway conditions are good. Native grass outside fairways. Incredible views of Pikes Peak. Pace of place is really good, 4 to 4.5 hours, unlike the other public places at 5 to 6 hours. Prices are fair for this type of golf, with a warm up bucket included. For me, best public golf in the Springs.

This is a good course with amazing surroundings and scenery. The biggest issue it the price per (18) round...it's a nice course, it it's not THAT nice for that price. I understand you don't want to make it too cheap for clientele reasons, but $100+ for weekday golf is too much; even $90 after 2pm is too much.

Course was in decent shape. Recent rain has improved conditions. Would definitely play at this course again.

Course is decent, used to play here all the time but since they got greedy and raised their prices, the course is not worth it at all anymore (I guess they thought since you get free range balls when you purchase a round, that they can charge more) I wouldn’t recommend to anyone because it is way overpriced.

Pine Creek has a decent layout and beautiful views, but unfortunately the course conditions didn’t justify the premium price. The fairways were either burnt out or appeared to be over-fertilized, making them inconsistent throughout the round. The greens were probably the best part of the course, they rolled fairly well, but even they weren’t enough to make up for the overall condition.

To make matters worse, the driving range was closed due to construction, which was disappointing since it’s one of the amenities you’re paying for. If you’re charging premium green fees, I’d expect the course conditions and facilities to match.

Hopefully the maintenance improves because the course has a lot of potential, but based on my experience, I don’t feel it was worth the price.

The course is very overpriced - from the range, to the greens fees, to the food and amenities. This course should cost no more than $80 to play at peak times, but they are charging $120-$130 per round, which is absurd for what this course is. It's probably why there are so many tee times available daily.

They always have tee times because they’re over prices.d way behind pace of play, and the course is in horrible condition.

It's a travesty to charge what they charge given the conditions of the course.

Course conditions were not good at all. “Sand” traps are just full of rocks no real sand in them. Fairways are not in good condition at all.

Bought 2 Bloody Mary drinks with an upgrade to Tito’s vodkas and they were $52!! Total overpriced drink and not much to them to justify it.

First of all, I love this course. From a design and play-ability standpoint, this is one of the most underrated golf courses in the Colorado Front Range.

The good:

1. Pine Creek is challenging but fun (for this old man) from the white tees

2. The views of Pikes Peak and the Front Range are unparalleled in Colorado.

3. The greens were receptive and reasonable.

4. The weather, perfect

The bad;

A. They've had to raise greens fees to stay profitable. Therefore, to save money I only play with member friends or with a GolfNow tee time

B. The clubhouse menu is sparse and pricey

C. This course (and almost all the others in the area) are starting to feel the pressure of the drought. The rough is overgrown and the fairways are starting to show brown spots.

All that being said, if you haven't played Pine Creek yet ... you owe it to yourself to do so.

I usually don’t write reviews, but I felt I needed to do so here. Booked through GN at $90 each. Arrived at the course and course looked dead. Greens looked good and were in good shape. When I went to pay I asked the young lady (who was very nice) if the course was bad as it looked? I said it looks dead and a lot of dirt. She said it isn’t dirt, but a lot of the grass is dead. Hmmm! I had already paid and I wasn’t changing her mind.

Fairways are filled with dead grass and dirt.

Greens are in really good shape.

Pace of play was great because no one else would pay to play there.

Workers were very nice!

Just a deal where they should inform you on how bad the course is. The back 9 is a lot worse than the front.
