Kona Country Club

This course was outstanding, the people were great, the course was well maintained. Can wait to come back to play this course again .Thanks Kona Country Course you didn't disappoint.

When on island, we always find it well worth the drive to play this extremely beautiful course. The green always seem like they are going to be easy, but then are not. We play a lot when on island but only summers when home. The course is beautifully maintained, too.

We also love the restaurant. The hamburgers are amazing!

My top three anywhere.

Greens were mediocre, alot of poor grass growth, with, I believe, extensive Poana infiltration. Range was poor, no room to hit driver, grass was really beat up.

Great view, nice layout, need some good maintenance.

Amazing experience at this course! The ocean views are absolutely stunning and make for a memorable round. The course itself was in great condition—well-maintained and a joy to play. What really stood out, though, was the friendly staff; they were welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.

Really like this course but is very hot and humid if no cloud cover like today.Course in very good shape but some greens have burned out areas .great views. NO WATER TO DRINK ON COURSE? Bring a lot of drinking water with you. They provide one small water bottle on cart to start. Nice bathrooms on course but no water dispensers?

Carts must be returned by 5:30 pm, was surprised that they don’t allow later play when sunset is 6:45 pm?

I have played here many times and still cannot consistently putt on these greens - course was in good shape - miss the big tree on 18!

Such a fun track! Greens in great shape and the course played well. Lots of wild goats and mongoose to look at as well! Range is a little rough, but practice area is decent with a good chipping and putting area.

Course was in very good condition. As is the case in Hawaii, greens were a little slow and very grainie. Views were fantastic. I would recommend this course as a must play for the value.

If you play like crap, you can't give the course a bad rating.

I'm not a good golfer 20 handicap, played so bad stopped keeping score and just tried working on the game. Lol

Kona was in great shape and the threatening rain held off for our round. Course was in very good shape. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Couple of weird points: Drink cart driver needed to keep our credit card since she didn't have a card reader. Really? Then when we finished our round, our card was not available for pick up in the club restaurant (the wait wasn't too long though). Is this just a ploy to get golfers into the restaurant/bar? Finally, there was no quick food option in the restaurant for golfers making the turn. At least not one we noticed. Minor points that I hope the management reads but that should not discourage golfers from playing this fine course.

They allowed a fivesome to play a head of us. No Marshall. Very very slow play. Great views, challenging fairways, decent greens even though they had recently been sanded.

Beautiful day for golf. Course conditions were good with the greens being in excellent shape. Fairways had some worn conditions. Bunkers were good with nice fluffy sand. Overall pace of play was good given the high volume of play. If you come to Kona and want to play golf the Kona Golf & Country club is an excellent option.

Kona is always on the courses when we are on the Big Island, close to Kona and always in good shape.
