About
Formerly a cornfield, Robert Trent Jones Jr. utilized the natural area and the import of over 600,000 cubic yards of dirt to create the challenging Ute Creek Golf Course. The championship course has a traditional links-style layout that is said to challenge even the most avid of golfers. The public, 18-hole golf course offers 7,167 yards from its longest tees, playing to a par of 72. It features several water hazards, especially on the back nine holes, with five lakes situated on the course and two streams that wind through it. Ute Creek Golf Course's well-bunkered greens and undulating, multi-level fairways provide more interesting elements to the game.

Beautiful course
Great layout lots of sand trap's but overall a good course!
Good course
This is a good chorus with fairly forgiving fairways but a lot of fairway bunkers Pace of play kind of sucked but it is what it is the course was in good condition considering we're in a drought currently. The entire staff was friendly and the Marshal was friendly as well. I recommend playing this course if you are visiting from out of town or in the area
July heat
Course was in excellent condition even with the July heat and lack of moisture. Greens are speedy downhill. Will be back. Lots of fun.
Great Place to Play
I was in from out of town and looking for a place to play in Longmont. So happy that I chose Ute Creek. Course was in excellent shape. They have a nice driving range, short game area and putting green that is accessible before you play. Both days that I played here the tee sheet was full, but the pace of play was still very good. I would highly recommend playing this course.
Avoid like the plague
- insufferably slow play - 5+ hour rounds are not uncommon
- Unexcusable bad behavior of players behind hitting into you while you wait on slow players ahead
- Extremely poor management will not do anything to speed up play or speak to players hitting into you (saying they didn't see it happen)
It is not a bad track but the people you may encounter may spoil what should be a pleasant day on the course.

1st Time this Season
The course is outstanding and a great value. Fairways and greens are in great shape. Challenging layout. I live this course.
Fun time
Played as a threesome. Course was in excellent shape. Greens are and fronts are firm. Do not shoot for the green as ball will not hold. Play short and roll ball onto green. Played under four hours. Compliments to staff who is doing a great job!!
Played 18 Holes on 6/3/26
Played 18 Holes with a foursome. Teed off at 10:20 AM and finished at 2:40PM. Pace of play excellent and course condition was also excellent. Greens were firm but rolled true. Highly recommend Ute Creek for a fun round.
Fun forgiving track with lots of bunkers
I like this course when I want to work on longer shots and bunkers shots. It’s forgiving in the fact that there are few trees , not much water and fairways are rather wide. Great value when using the golf now hot deal.
Great mountain views
Great views of the mountains. Course in good shape. Greens very good shape. Electric carts, no GPS. Layout challenging with 3 par 3's and 3 par 5's on back. Weather can change anytime. Friendly check-in and starter. Great value in the area.
Great Course
This course was fun to play. In great condition and staff were friendly. Pace of play was quick. Would definitely recommend.
Good, fun, challenging course!
This course was a fun course to play. The course definitely plays tricks on your eyes. The course is very well guarded on almost every hole. With tons of bunkers to provide challenges around the greens. The conditions were good when I played!
Staff should really notify guests when they punch/ sand the greens!!!
Played on 5/23/2026, paid full price for newly punched/ sanded greens, this place was a freaking sandbox! Nobody on their staff told me the greens were punched the previous day when I made my tee time, there was no mention of it, but they had zero issues charging us regular full price rates.There was no reduction in the greens fee, I paid full price. I don't know who is running this place, they need s management refresher course in communication, and relay it to their team members. Did I mention the greens were punched yesterday and we were charge full price, prime rates. Absolutely ludicrous, shady staffers, just notify guests that the greens are/ were punched/ sanded, and offer a discounted rate. Deceitful business practices. That's what we get for our city running our courses.
