Upgrades
First time back since last August. Clubhouse done and really nice. Practice facility top notch, course in about as good of shape as you can ask for. Pace of play today was 4 hours. Recommend for sure. Protip: don't speed in Babcock Ranch, they're looking and it's a long drive doing only 25.
AMAZING
Once they get the clubhouse and range finished amenities will be outstanding. Course is fantastic, challenging and fun, especially the green complexes!
Better options
Course is fairly new, but conditions should be better . Front 9 fairways are thin and hard, can't take a divot. Greens also hard and highly sloped. Lots of construction going on all around the course.
Great course, great staff and a great time!
Beautiful course with a very enjoyable layout. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The range was a great warm up with plenty of space and balls; even a station to clean your clubs before heading to the first tee. The bunkers were in excellent condition. The greens are extremely fast so be gentle with putting. The fairways also play fast and there’s not much high rough, so it’s easy for your ball to gain another 20-30 yards on the roll…. But sometimes you may roll off a hill and into a pond. Watch out for those gators! Highly recommend this course!
Good Track
Nice people and good track. Golf now saves a few bucks too. Will be great when they have var open.
Great shape
Very nice course and it’s in great shape. There’s construction going on, but it doesn’t affect the course itself.
Good layout
Had a wonderful time playing in beautiful weather. Wide fairways under good conditions.
Nice Layout and Conditions
Excellent layout with a nice variety of short+long par 4s, along with interesting par 3s/5s. Greens are smooth for a young course and have tricky (but not over the top) slopes. Plenty of room to hit driver on longer holes. Good value for the $ - will play again.
Great first time!
Really enjoyed it! First time hidden hazards got me a few times. Course was in great shape!
Nice track
Great conditions especially compared to other courses I played in the area at comparable prices. Just slightly over 4 hours for 18. Generous fairways, and quick greens. My only complaint would be that the greens were very hard and it was difficult to get a ball to stick. Would go back.
Course has a nice layout, very nice practice area, large practice green that actually mimics greens on the track (not often the case).
Enjoyed playing Webb’s Reserve with my wife. Tee box options make it easy to find appropriate hole lengths for all levels of play. Wind can be a big factor, so keep that in mind when selecting clubs. I’d suggest taking more club than you think you need, particularly on the par 3’s (short shots will cost you). Greens right now in Jan are hard and fast. Stay below the hole on approaches or you’ll risk 3 putting. The only negative is the bumpy cart trails between holes in new construction areas. Lack of signage in some areas might also be a negative since green to tee distances can be long (ie. Hole 17 to 18).
Could Have Been a Nice Day
We played Webbs Reserve on 1/17/26. The weather was perfect (74 degrees, sunny) and the course was in good shape with fast greens. However, I won't come back because the rangers ruined the experience. If my group is keeping up with the group in front of us, that's as fast as we can go. Despite that, the rangers spoke to us 4 times about slow play. There were two of these that bothered me particularly. On the 8th tee (a par 3), we had just waited about 3 or 4 minutes for the group ahead of us to clear the green. Nonetheless, the ranger came up to us and spoke about slow play. This bothered me but later in the round, I was over it. Then, just to top it off, we're on 18 (still just behind the group in front) and the ranger spoke to us again about picking up the pace. At this point, we were 100 yds from the 18th green! He acted like he was kidding and maybe he was but it the absolutely last thing I wanted to hear at that point. Won't be back.
