Babcock National

In town from Central Florida for the holiday weeks. Not knowing the area, I chose this course based on the recent ratings and made the drive from Captiva Island…about an hour 20 mins. But WELL WORTH THE DRIVE!!

Talk about no preround stress for a first time visitor! From the arrival to the departure, the experience and staff were top notch! I didn’t get that “I’m better than you” attitude you get in the Orlando market.

Enough about that… You’ll njoyed the complimentary range balls for the pre and post round. Plenty of space to dial in irons/woods. The short game and putting areas are right near the first tee and starter. The only complaint (if there has to be one) is that the range balls are water balls that is a little beat up. But, they’re warm up balls. You can drop your own balls on the chipping areas. So not much of a complaint here.

Otherwise, the course plays very nicely. I enjoyed the layout here. Even a couple of risk reward type holes keep you on your toes. Fairways are generous although there are a few holes you need to be mindful of your landing areas with driver or mini driver (3 wood). Greens are on the large side. However if you’re a ways from the flag, you still must read the undulation. The speed was consistent. Pitch marks seemed non existent. Kudos to the locals taking care of your playground! Courses in certain parts of Orlando are horrible fixing ball divots! Yet they expect nice greens…

Unfortunately, I did not visit the restaurant. Needed to get back to the family. I played on a Saturday morning and the cart gerl was out several times.

Nice job, Babcock National! You’ve got a really good thing there. I hope to see ya sooner than later to beat the 68 I threw up!

Should not have been charged full price. It was cart path only. The course was soaked and the greens were recently aerated.

Course was in excellent condition. Facilities are great. Staff are friendly. Will 100% go back.

Enjoyed course even though sand was still heavy on the greens.

Became available to play off season. Great course. Very large fairways, fast greens, great track. Will be back!

We had a nice round with another couple. Family friendly course Staff was wonderful Fairways and greens were a bit shaggy but considering the lack of rain and heat it's understandable. Played in less than 4 hours

Worth the drive. Staff was great, practice facility chipping and putting perfect 🔥 course, not a bad lie throughout, no weeds, just very impressive. Greens in perfect shape and roll true. Overall A+ and my new goto

I can't say enough good things. I drove an hour and well worth it, my new spot.

Staff was great, range balls came with round which saved for the swing oil. Chipping and practice greens perfect. Nice open fairways, never have to touch your ball, perfect lie everytime. Shot 79 from the reds and felt really good the whole day.

Range is water but has target's to hone in on. Highly recommend and awesome job to the full staff, maintenance,cart barn, pro shop... Awesome stuff and I appreciate the great day by myself 💪

I went as a single,met two really nice guys that played comparable golf to me . The course was in very nice condition loved by it all
