Hooper's Landing Golf Course

Once again, the course was in great shape. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely will be back again.

First time playing Hooper's Landing. The in-season price is what has always kept us away as my golfing buddies and I have a number of good courses in the area that are not as expensive. The GolfNow coupon allowed us the opportunity to change that. Course was in great shape. Some tee boxes were a little beaten down but the greens and fairways were in great shape. If it wasn't for another golfer that we briefly spoke to, we would have missed the path over to the holes across the street. Nothing was mentioned before we tee'd off. We'll be back as long as we can get the coupon or play in the off season.

The course was in great shape. The fairways were as good as any course that I've played this year. The greens rolled smoothly. Pace of play was great! Just under 4 hours. Definitely will be back.

Some fairway areas had no grass due to hot summer & then flooding conditions, however tees, greens & most of the fairways were super.

Staff were also very friendly & accommodating!

Would recommend if the rates reflect the conditions. Currently the fairways and a few greens need work. The bunkers were good, but there are a couple quirky holes I.e. hole 1. The rough was tall and lots of grass clippings on top, so almost impossible to find your ball.

Major repair on fairways. Holes 5,6 7,8 9 & 10

are not fun to play. You have to pick up your ball and play on the first cut.

Normally, this course is great however right now they've lost all their Bermuda Fairways so they were mostly dirt however the greens were great the tee boxes need work as well I'm sure it will come back but I would not recommend playing it right now.

For the cost of play, considering the condition of the course this year it's over priced. They're rebuilding the first par 3 and to be fair, most of the greens we saw this summer were completely wiped out by something that looks like it was scorched. The fairway was in good shape but for 17 holes and burnt greens, $75 is a bit steep. The last time we were there, the price was about $65 due to the par 3 being rebuilt but after that, we haven't been back.

Probably one of, if not the worst golf courses I’ve played in years. It’s almost on par with Ocean Resorts. The anniversary deal of 30 dollars was what this course should be on the weekend. The fact that they charge upwards of 77 dollars to play this goat pasture is criminal. Starting with the first hole, which may be one of the dumbest holes I’ve ever played. Even with a really good drive, you have to hit an approach over trees. Stupid. It is also painfully obvious that they have a bunch of trash working their course. People with ZERO clue how to cut a cup, and where to place a flag. Most of the holes were cut on the side of inclines on the greens. Didn’t mess me up, but the two guys I played with struggled.

What a joke this place is.

The fairways were basically like the first cut of rough at most courses, and the greens were just giant wastes of grass.

It’s Bermuda, it’s made for the heat, cut the darn fairways.

Plus, at almost every course in the world, when you make the turn you’re back at the clubhouse. Hence the out and in on the scorecard. Not at this gem. Oh no, you don’t get back by the clubhouse until after hole 14.

Frankly, this course is a waste of your time and money.

For spring golf it played ok. Fairways are Bermuda so completely brown, greens were bumpy and. Fee needed a bunch of work.

Our group had a lot of fun playing Hooper's Landing. The course was in good shape and the pace of play was very good. The people running the place were very friendly. Couldn't ask for a better day of golf!

Not very crowded which was great. Two distinctive styles of holes. First section has tree lined fairways the second section has more water and marshy type hazards. Greens are relatively flat. Overall the course is challenging but enjoyable.

Good value, interesting layout. Not crowded so too can play at a good pace. Some greens need work.

the Starter was very informative and friendly. He even had an assistant who was also very helpful.

As far as the course, what a layout. Only a couple holes that looked similar. Some long par 4s (450 and 440) make this a true test from the tips. A rare par three to finish which played 224 yards. Greens and fairways are in great shape

Will definitely be back! Do yourself a favor and stop by for 18 you will not be disappointed
