About

HeatherRidge Golf Course is a nine-hole course with all the challenges of a full-length course. It's an ideal round for when you don't have time to play 18 holes. Water has a prominent presence throughout thanks to a creek that winds through the entire course with tributaries that snake in and out of the holes and there are also ponds that come into play. You'll find water on a total of seven holes. There are a few other tricky spots to watch out for as well, including subtle breaks in the greens. Hitting straight is the key to scoring well and both accuracy and creative shot-making skills are needed. HeatherRidge G.C. has appeal for players of all skill levels and the affordable rates make it doubly appealing.

Heatherridge Review

Only one flaw I can think of. My wife and I brought our 7 and 6 year old and were charged a $12 cart fee for each. Even the shop pro thought that was high. Paying for two carts, it seems kind of monotonous to pay an additional $12 for each of my children to ride along in a cart and not even play

Nice little course

We were lucky to pick a time when no one was behind us as my husband is just picking up the game after many years.

Course was in great condition—much better than some others I have played recently.

Only one small downside—directions to the next hole were not always clear and on one we weren’t sure where the blue tees were. And what are the silver tees for?

Heather Ridge = The Augusta of Lake County

I love Heather Ridge golf course. I may be bias because it is very close to my home, but every time there I have met some very nice golfers that I have been randomly partnered with. The workers treat you with respect. The course is kept in great condition and it is a fun, but challenging course good for any level of golfer.

Visiting from Houston

My son and I wanted to play 9 holes after visiting Great America. The course is only a few miles from the park. It was perfect. The course was in excellent condition and the staff was friendly. I would highly recommend this course to anyone.
