About
Buffalo Grove Golf Club is an 18-hole municipal course that offers an enjoyable round for players of all skill levels. The gently rolling terrain is covered with mature trees and wetlands, all of which provide challenges on the course. In addition to the natural hazards, there are a few strategically placed bunkers lurking throughout. Accuracy will be helpful when maneuvering the tree-lined fairways but it's not a terribly punishing golf course. There are a few tricky spots, but overall it's a forgiving and player-friendly layout. It's ideal for beginners and also good for a quick and casual round for any skill level. The golf course's affordability is another appealing aspect of the course. Buffalo Grove G.C. also offers a practice facility with a 25-station driving range and pitching and chipping greens.

Quality golf in Buffalo Grove IL
Greens in great shape. Minimal trouble spots. Good restaurant with patio.
Excellent
Everything was in perfect condition. Greens were amazing, rough was perfect height where it was challenging but you didn’t spend all day having to search for your ball. The only issue I had was after I paid my fee for a cart (I was a single) and went to the first hole the starter told me because there were 3 carts in our group, one of us had to share a cart because they don’t allow 3 carts out in a group. If I was told this when I paid for it, I would have walked. Not a big deal but better communication would help.
It was ok
Tee boxes were not flat, fairways were pretty hard, greens were ok. I appreciated the grass driving range before hand.
Going to add this course to my rotation
Anytime you go to a new course and you’re under the age of 40 I think everyone knows it’s a 50/50 shot with the staff being cool and helpful, these guys were awesome. Clubhouse welcomed me for the first time and the starter was awesome, gave me a run through of the course. Will be back again
Can I get a hot dog?
Went into restaurant to get something to eat at turn and just like last time I was there the service was terrible. Like it was an inconvenience for her to take 2 hot dogs out of the warmer. Course is good Restaurant is crap
Early Round
It’s early in the season but the course has been in better shape than for this round. There were many areas on the fairways that were roped off and several fairways had lost of water. The bunkers were dry and hard. However the greens were in good condition. We played the round in about 4 hours and 15 minutes. Help is needed in the kitchen/ restaurant. There were hardly any food or drinks available in the middle of the afternoon.
Good Course Challenging Front 9 Holes
Pace was good. Course in good condition for October, finished in under 2 hours.ideal weather for gold, not too hot or too cold
