I was taken back by how well kept this course was. Friendly staff, great place of play, amazing overall layout. I especially loved the super lengthy par 3s. 10/10, booking again now
Beautiful course
This was a fun course to play. The tee boxes and fairways were extremely nice, all green, no bare spots. Well maintained course . Greens were good too. Definitely will play again
Trails West
Great course that is well maintained. Fairways and greens are in great shape, but the rough is very thick making it extremely difficult to find your ball. I know keeping the ball in the fairway would solve this problem, but I'm still working on that! It was a great day on the course, even with the 95-degree temperatures.
Beautiful course
Everything was great, but missed my tee time because you have to get a pass at the visitor center prior to getting into the fort. That takes 15 to 20 minutes.
Lovely course in excellent condition, at a VERY reasonable price. But, also very challenging.
The course is VERY hilly. Almost every shot from the fairway was either uphill, downhill, sidehill, or a combination. I'm not exaggerating. The elevation changes can make club selection difficult unless you play it a few times. The rough was longer and thicker than most courses in the Kansas City area, And, 2 of the par 3's can play over 180 yds from the white tees.
Unexpectedly beautiful
I was so surprised to find this beautiful historic course in the middle of a military base in Leavenworth, Kansas. The old trees and the beautiful terrain and lakes and so well kept — absolutely stunning. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Spring Golf at Trails West
Great spring conditions and pace of play. Always a challenge with the sloped greens and elevation changes. Paired up with two of America's finest for a fun front nine, then breezed thru the back nine. Staff were helpful & friendly.
