Golfer Reviews
Nice Course
Good condition. Carts have GPS. Not too difficult but not too easy.
Great course and better value
The course is in great shape. A few small burns in the fairways but overall it is in quality condition. The greens are well maintained. This course would easily be $100+ where I live in New Jersey. The staff is friendly and I recommend the two courses here at UK!
Put water jugs on the course!
Does someone have to have a heat stroke or die before you all do what’s right???? Pathetic
Best in the area.
We played the Wildcat course, and for the GolfNow price, this is by far the best value in the area for a public course. Conditions were great compared to other similarly priced courses in the area.
Wildcat in july
course was in good shape, couple of fairways had burn spots but the turf was great. thick and lush, good divots. Rough was not treacherous, but high enough to be grabby.
The greens were spot on. Medium fast, rolling true, hardly any ball mark spots. Holed alot of putts today.
Great course conditions
Considering the rain in the area the course was in great shape. The rough was hard to hit out of. The carts had GPS, but unfortunately they would lock up for no reason. You could be well short of the sign keeping you from the green and they would lock up. You couldn't go off the beaten path much and the cart would lock up. Overall it was aggravating but tolerable. The real negative was no water on the course.
Good Design but Horrible Maintenance
Surprised at how poorly maintained this course was when I played it. Absolutely no sand in the bunkers. Just hard dirt so all the bunkers are unplayable. No difference in first cut of rough vs second. Difficult to even find your ball if a foot off the fairway. Lost balls that you watched hit because of the 6” rough. Green consistency was also very poor. Some rolled ok while others had weeds in the greens which appeared to have a week or more growth. The course layout is good but can’t recommend this course to anyone. Even if discounted there are much better options in the area.
Outstanding Course!
Really great course that’s very challenging. Will test your long game aswell as your short game. Totally recommend
Very disappointed
Course was in very poor shape. Fairways were terrible, greens were dry… many better options in the area
Conditions could be much better
The course has an interesting layout, several holes are doglegs. But the conditions are far below what they should be for the cost. The rough is very long, but inconsistent from hole to hole. The greens are a little better, but just a little more attention could go a long way. The carts have GPS that are supposed to keep you from driving in restricted areas, but all they really do is lock up suddenly on the path and you have to call the clubhouse to get it unlocked. The Big Blue course is much nicer, and it's a shame the Wildcat is so neglected.
