Kearney Hill Golf Links

This is a fantastic course and peaceful setting. Greens were very nice. Fairways were good with some rough spots due to very dry conditions. For the price you can’t do any better anywhere! Play it from the tips for a good challenge.

Nice course, well taken care of and in very good shape for the dry summer we have experienced.

The course has lots of potential. It has a nice designe, you can tell it's a Pete Dye course. With a little care and maintenance this course could easily be a hidden gem, but as it is it's hard to believe the course has hosted senior tour events or major US Amateur events. We were just very disappointed in the shape of the greens. They don't appear to have been rolled in a long time and were inconsistent. The bunkers were also hard as concrete.

I have played Kearney probably 10 times and I love it every time that I have ever been there. Keeping the ball in the fairway is a must, with their thick rough it’s hard to find balls but I love how challenging it is. I can’t wait to go back

This course was in such good shape. I played in March when there was lots of construction. I amazed at the finished product.

Restricted to cart path only, then were instructed by the range officer to speed up pace of play somewhere around the 9th hole. Overall, not a fun experience.

Kearney Hill is a challenging Pete & P.B. Dye course, but not too difficult. I think the rating and slope from the black tees is a little off, given the typical Dye angles off the tees and the tough par 3s. Instead of 71.5 and 129, 72.4 and 132 would be about right. I loved the memorabilia from the USGA/PGA/Kentucky Amateur championships inside. A great asset for Lexington.

Very nice course off the beaten path. Wide open for the most part, but if you're off the fairway good luck finding your ball. Most holes were interesting layouts, not just straight tee to green. Greens were well groomed. Got paired up with a couple of locals who were very entertaining.
